Meet Jabari Cain

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jabari Cain.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jabari. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
First and foremost, my father was a huge inspiration and was the reason I got into photography. He would photograph individuals as a hobby and still does to this day. Back in 2009, my brothers and I pitched in to purchase a camera for my father for Christmas. Come to find out the camera we purchased was not the one he wanted, so we were going to return. Instead, I decided to keep it for myself and was amazed at the capabilities. My father noticed my interests and gave me some lenses and a flash, which took my interest even further. I continued to learn on my own, photograph portrait sessions, invested in more equipment, and eventually created a website for portraits. Fast forward to 2011, a co-worker of mine was getting married and asked if I would photograph her wedding. I nervously said yes and the results were pretty good, so I continued to strive to get better. With my first wedding complete, I began to take wedding photography seriously and began to market my services. Years have past and I’ve been fortunate to photograph weddings, elopements, and engagement sessions throughout the Atlanta area. It has been a wonderful experience getting to know couples and to be a part of a huge day in their lives.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
For the most part, it has been a smooth road. With any new path in life, you are bound to have some challenges. The only thing you can do is learn from them and continue to improve. After every photography session, I always reflect on how I can make improvements for the best client experience. I continue to make any necessary adjustments to ensure a memorable experience that a bride and groom can’t wait to tell their friends about.

Cain’s camera has been around since 2011 and I specialize in wedding, elopement and engagement photography within the Atlanta area. I’m known for my relaxed personality, professionalism, and experience in the wedding industry. What sets me apart is my unique style of lighting clients no matter the weather scenario, skin complexion or time of day. No matter the circumstance of the wedding day, I come through with epic photos my clients love!

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I had to start over I would have gotten into photography earlier in my life. No worries though. I’m trying to get my kids into photography at a young age so they can carry on the tradition.
