Meet Ja’ness Tate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ja’ness Tate.

So, before we jump into specific questions about what you do, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am a Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist. 21 years old and born and raised in Washington D.C. I first found love for guitar watching my grandfather and listening to some of his produced work. I think my music lane is Alternative Pop/R&B. My favorite artists are Alicia Keys, Hinder and Maroon 5. My favorite songs are We Are Here by Alicia Keys, When I See You Again By Charlie Puth and Sugar by Maroon 5.

Has it been a smooth road?
The road has been both sweet and salty but things have been looking up with the help of my family, friends, and teammates that are able to support and encourage my spirit along the road to success.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I am a Musician. I play at different places around Georgia working on getting my name and my music out there. I am proud of how far I’ve come I’ve learned so much in little time. I ready to take over the world!

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes! I moved from D.C. because I believe that Atlanta was the place for me to pursue my career.
