Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Brown.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
It all began in 2020 right before the Covid 19 pandemic. I was enjoying my workout at a boutique gym in Buckhead called Total Row Fitness and they were looking to open their first franchise. I wanted to be their first franchisee in the Kennesaw area. Just as we were securing a lease and finalizing our SBA loan, Covid 19 began spreading and the economy was in a lockdown. The bank had our down payment and didn’t want to return it to us, so they provided us with a franchise coach who helped us find our current business OxiFresh Carpet Cleaning of Kennesaw. We didn’t realize there had been any innovation in carpet cleaning until we discovered this business. We enjoyed seeing how effective this non-steam cleaning process worked so well on our carpets and numerous clients carpets. We also enjoyed the fact that less than 5 gallons of water or less is used on average per job and this carpet cleaning process has a quick drying time of 1 hour. Seeing how great the carpets looked after cleaning them and the quick drying time sold us. We were all in and have been in business 5 years as of June 2026. Our territory now covers all of Cobb County, Woodstock, Canton, Brookhaven, parts of Roswell/Alpharetta and more.
I also enjoyed posting great places to dine at in ATL and when I’m traveling on my Instagram food account @chocolatemusclefoodie. It has allowed me numerous collabs with businesses such as Kroger, Krystal’s, McDonald’s, Panera Bread, Ted’s Montana Grill, Dollywood Resort & Theme Park, Tin Lizzy’s, Twin Peaks, Hooters, etc.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Unfortunately, the road is never smooth. As a small business we’ve dealt with employee turnover, we had two employees last us about 3 years each which was a blessing. Since then we’ve had to deal with about 4 new employees before we found more consistent/dependable workers. We also dealt with the slowing economy in the first quarter of 2025 due to fears regarding tariffs, we experienced a more than 40% drop in sales. We also dealt with our brand new company Dodge ProMaster City van with only 20,000 miles needing a completely new engine in our second year of service, leaving us without a second vehicle for three months and we had to rent a vehicle at our own expense.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I was made aware by a friend in 2016 that people were posting photos aka foodies on this app called instagram and were being invited to many restaurant events, so I decided to join them myself.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Hanging out in the country on the dirt road my grandma and auntie lived on. Such beautiful memories of just having fun and loving family. We just enjoyed the simple things.
