Today we’d like to introduce you to Jon Madrid.
Jon, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Well, I am a 19-year-old Entrepreneur/social media/music artist. I live in Los Angeles, California, this is where I create all my videos and record all my songs. I just started recording music a couple months back but aside from that. I’m very outgoing and I’m very free-spirited. I just love to make people smile and feel good.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Honestly, to be totally honest, I thought achieving my dreams and moving out to Los Angeles was going to be so easy. I had so many different phases moving out here to LA. At first, it was very fast pace and I was just all over the place. After months started to go by, I started to become more organized and have more structure, which made my days a lot easier. To be honest, there’s been a lot of struggle but it’s so worth it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Well, I have been on the TikTok platform since April 28th, 2019. I absolutely love the app b/c I’m able to show my true self and influence the youth to do good within this world. I started my brand out by wearing yellow. I’ve been wearing yellow on my social media (mainly Instagram) for about a year now. A lot of people recognize me from wearing yellow all the time, but I ended up blowing up on Tiktok by “stopping escalators,” and I’m also known for my comedy skits that I do. Some things that I mainly specialize in is being able to make funny content and knowing what is going to go viral and what isn’t. I’ve been able to grow TikTok pages from 0 – 500k plus. I feel like the traits that kinda set me apart from others is being able to not care about what anyone thinks and also having multiple talents to use in my videos or just in general from skateboarding, snowboarding, singing, gymnastics, dance and the list goes on.
How do you think about luck?
I feel like luck is another word for “It was supposed to happen.”
