Meet Kevonte Bennett

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevonte Bennett.

Kevonte, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
When I was eight, I was always in love with Music. I grew up listening to 2pac, Biggie, Michael Jackson, etc. I didn’t get really serious about music until 2013. I started working on my craft and skills until I felt I was ready for the world to listen to my songs. Last year, I released my debut EP called Lone Vol.1 it was one my first projects I released. It did really well so I decided to take a step further. Earlier this year, I drop my first single call nostalgia on all platforms. I was nervous at first but that did well too. But I didn’t stop there I started getting more comfortable releasing music on platforms to the point where I’m at I’m now. I’m about to release my second EP called Nostalgia. It’s really been a struggle through these past months but I got to keep grinding I made a promise to my grandma and my brother that I will become something.

Has it been a smooth road?
Obstacles that I had were gaining the confidence to release my music on platforms and household struggles. The only thing I’m having a problem with right now is gaining an audience is tricky at times. Other than that’s really it.

Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I’m known for music and dancing, but I do a lot more. I just try to tackle one talent at a time but being a music artist is my main focus.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see myself making a new movement in music. Create in diverse sounds that nobody never heard before. And make sure people get quality over quantity and make sure my music resonates with the soul.
