Meet Kezekiel Schley of K Schley Enterprise in Powder Springs

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kezekiel Schley.

Kezekiel is the founder of K.Schley Enterprise the author of Cynthia and the New Normal, a children’s book. I have always loved helping people from making copies for the teacher in grade school to helping others start their business or finding someone to meet their current needs. I have assisted my clients with how to find playing customers, keeping their paying customers, and finding grants. I also write business plans, make business cards, and assist in creating a catching slogan.

I’ve also been teaching for almost 4 years! And these last couple of months I feel more like a babysitter than an Educator. I don’t generally have behavior or classroom management issues— any kind of large group type activity is out… ( story time, large group literacy, phonological awareness)… and my classroom looks like this – students are expected to sit in their spot all day — and only play with/use “their items”—— I’ve decided this is the definition of insanity! I spend most of the day conducting crowd control and social distance. I wrote Cynthia and The New Normal not only for school-age children but also for myself. I often struggle to keep the passion for teaching and interacting with the kids due to all the new policies in place.

During this time, I have started forcing my consultant business assisting others to turn their passion into a profit.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
As a teacher, mother, and business owner it has not been a smooth road juggling all three. There have been days where I wish I had friends closer because I have often found my heart in a dark place and stopped helping others for a while. Now with everything going on since COVID-19 and the riots I could not relax. There have been days when I feel hopeless and disgust, hurt, and hatred about something I haven’t even grasped. I am blessed for my spiritual and life coach Angela A. Tate, she has been a real blessing throughout this postpartum depression and other things. After a few sections with her, I was back at work.

K Schley Enterprise – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My business seeks to help others find their business goals and fulfill them. I give off that sister, mother, or aunt vibe. I care about all my clients and by the time we are done with our sections, they can feel it was more than a business connection. I am someone who cares about their goals besides them.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success as starting a personal goal and meeting your goals. I was once told that you are your biggest competition. Therefore, the only way to meet your goals is to make them.
