Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristina.
Hi Kristina, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I moved to Georgia a few months ago from Florida with my husband and beloved cat while I was pregnant.
In general, we moved to the USA only 1.5 years ago from Russia.
Moving to the USA became a real starting point and the beginning of our new life, and since before moving to Russia I was engaged in marketing on social networks, I started looking for a similar job in the USA and came across the profession of UGC.
I love to shoot beautiful sales videos, take product photos, edit and come up with scripts. At that time, I had already been doing this for 6 years. Therefore, this profession seemed ideal for me.
I started sending offers of my services to brands and they began to respond. So, in just a few months, from free orders for small brands, I grew to paid orders and cooperation with large brands such as Givenchy, Burberry, Caudalie, Sesderma, Manyo and others.
In parallel, I managed to find regular clients for whom I create content on a regular basis.
For me, as a young mother, this profession is very convenient, since it does not require working in an office or by the hour. I set my schedule as it is convenient for me.
Now I am planning to develop my own blog and collaborate with giants of the beauty industry, such as Rhode, Armani, Rare Beauty, Victoria Secret, etc
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
UGC requires a lot of patience. Before I got my first orders, I had to wait for about a month and send out cooperation offers to different brands every day.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I love making videos! In Russia, I worked for 6 years with many brands of clothing, accessories and cosmetics. In UGC, you need to make videos that make potential buyers want to buy your product right away! For the videos, I create scripts, edit and shoot everything myself.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
The main risk is not to spoil the product before you take it off 🙂 I have never had such cases.
I am an extremely responsible maker and try to do everything without risks.
