Meet Maia Treleaven of Maximize You LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maia Treleaven.

Maia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am a woman of faith, purpose, and persistence, yet my story is still being written.

With over 25 years in engineering, aerospace, and manufacturing, my “9-5” is serving as a Quality Auditor with a global aerospace and defense manufacturer. I hold certifications in quality management and Six Sigma Lean Black Belt — credentials I earned not to impress anyone, but because excellence has always been my standard. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Langston University and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Leadership and Organizational Development. Along the way I have served and continue to serve as a mentor, community leader, board member, Girl Scout volunteer, Society of Women Engineers (SWE) member and advocate, and consistent voice for equity and inclusion in the spaces I occupy.

But the professional credentials only tell part of the story. I am also a wife, grandmother, mother, family historian, and founder of Maximize You LLC, a multi-brand platform built at the intersection of faith, professional development, and authentic living. Momentous Moments with Maia T™ carries my devotional voice. Quality Moments™ bridges professional excellence and purpose. Espresso Excellence™ is a podcast and community platform still taking shape.

I live and serve in East Tulsa’s Global District, a community I love and invest in daily. Everything I do is rooted in one belief: Elevate the Standard. Maximize the Moment.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has never been smooth but every detour has shaped me.

I grew up most of my life with the knowledge and love of one person as my father and became aware that he was not my birth father. I spent decades filling that silence with a story I constructed because no one gave me the truth. When I finally learned what really happened, I retraced his life, connected with family who did not know I existed, and stood at his gravesite in Los Angeles as the daughter he never got to know. That journey changed me profoundly and is the foundation of a memoir I am writing.

Professionally, I have navigated spaces where I was often the only Native Black woman, sometimes the only woman, at the table. I have had my expertise underestimated and my credibility questioned. I have learned that authenticity, excellence, and preparation are the most powerful responses to both.

Maximize You LLC is a multi-brand platform I founded to help others elevate their standard and maximize their moment. It lives at the intersection of faith, professional development, and authentic living and every piece of it is rooted in real experience, not theory.

Momentous Moments with Maia T™ is my devotional brand faith-based content for people navigating purpose, identity, and everyday life with intention. My first book, Momentous Moments with Maia T™: 100 Days of Faith, Purpose & Authentic Living, Volume 1, is a devotional guide written from lived experience, not a pulpit. I am also developing Persistent Grace: Transforming Detours into Destiny, a memoir and companion journal rooted in the journey of tracing my father’s story and discovering what grace looks like when the path does not go as planned.

Quality Moments™ bridges my 25+ years in aerospace quality management with professional development, bringing the same discipline and accountability I apply in the audit room to personal and career growth. Espresso Excellence™ is a podcast and community platform designed to create space for real conversations around purpose and excellence.
My “9-5” as a Quality Auditor in aerospace and defense is not separate from this work, it fuels it. The precision, the standards, the commitment to getting it right, that is the same energy behind everything I build. I was recently honored with the 2026 All in for Quality Award, selected from 271 nominees, for my approach to auditing.
