Meet Mikhail Tot of Tot Films Productions

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mikhail Tot.

Hi Mikhail, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was born in Russia. My family migrated to USA when I was about 14 years old. I went to NJ high school, after graduating I attended Bowling Green State University in Ohio. That’s where I got into film. After graduating, I moved to Cleveland, OH where I filmed numerous projects everything from feature films to music videos. And after meeting the right people, I moved to Atlanta to be in film full-time.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was hard to go from a secure job to being a full-time filmmaker. It was tough to get people to see my vision for projects… Now I don’t have that problem anymore.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a production company established in 2018. We specialize in film and video production. We have all the equipment and all the crew. We can make your vision come to life.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My mom. My mom is my biggest supporter. Her and I have been together my whole life (ha!) She got my back no matter how ridiculous the projects is.
