Meet Misha Mills

Today we’d like to introduce you to Misha Mills.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Misha. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started my business after being wrongfully fired from a high- value salon. November 19.2019 was my opening day just 1 week later. During that week I question was I prepared or did I have the clientele to go out on my own. Being that I’m not from Alabama and only had worked in the traditional salon, I was quite doubtful but I said “What’s the worst that can happen?” And signed a 1- year lease. Almost 2 years later, starting with little to no clientele, & faith I’m now as they say “booked & busy”. (More like booked & productive lol)

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I try to go with the follow of things and be flexible and adaptable. With that, I’ve adapted many skills that I enjoy. As a creative person I would like to be embraced to have more than just one specialty. There’s no category for me; I’m everything. The industry really doesn’t nurture one’s ability to do all things.

Please tell us about your business.
I don’t have a specialty. I have the ability to do all things and that’s what makes it an “experience. Misha D. Mills The Experience is known for a lot and I’m proud of that. Being skillful and knowledgeable to educate my clients and produce stylish results. What sets me apart from others is my spirit that’s Beyond the hair.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memories are those that include my friends. I value friendship.
