Meet Mornin Afta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mornin Afta.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m a Baltimore college graduate. I been in Atlanta for a year. I have built my fanbase with performances, features and Instagram challenges. I came to Atlanta to build a relationship with the industry grow my career and mindset. I got where I am today by competing with myself. Every year I become a better version of myself.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been what I made it, as I make genuine contact that will last. I met so many people that are successful in different fields. It’s truly motivation everywhere I look. This is the black Utopia.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am an R&B artist. I work with a lot of producers to build a sound and bring as much soul to the game. What separates me from other artists is my ability to be business savvy and musically inclined. I own an airbnb property in Buckhead, I went to school for tech and influence higher education to all. Most of all, I am hands-on in all of my creations and music; I produce, write, sing and engineer.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
God, Family, and Faith matter most to me. I lean on God for not my own understanding. I believe my success is bigger than me so I live through and for my family. Faith made me move to Atlanta as it got me out of the mindset to settle for less and reach for the stars.
