Meet RayLeon

Today we’d like to introduce you to RayLeon.

Hi RayLeon, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started Engineering at Home recording my friends and myself. With the help of some friends who are already professionals, I learned to mix and master and record and track artists in an efficient way. Staying up from sun up to sun down and never giving up is how I started. I go by the name RayLeon.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been a bumpy ride from bad mixes to great mixes to finding people who are just as hard-working as I am but I found a family here at Underground Rich Studios.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Well, I am an audio engineer at underground rich studios in Greensboro, NC. I also am a songwriter and singer I’m most proud of hitting my first five million streams on Spotify and performing at South Carolina house of blues but a real milestone was when I got to work with BJ the Chicago kid he was great and a dear friend of mine I learned a lot from him but my favorite part is my best friend and mentor J white who changed my life and made all these things possible I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for him so big thank you to him.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Being myself and not trying to be anything I’m not and learning discipline and self-love.
