Meet Ryan Gayle of Baltimore, MD

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Gayle.

Ryan Gayle

Hi Ryan, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Ryan. Under the bright lights of professional wrestling on the independent circuit I am known to many as “Ryan Razors”. I started my wrestling journey April 23rd 2023 at the Diamond Mine Academy in Mobile, AL. My trainers at the time were Zane Stevens & Matthew “MacDaddyDuds” Dudley & later on coached by former WWE referee Scott Armstrong. Over time I also took on the mentorship of great veterans amongst my peers on the Gulf Coast such as Nightmare Jeremiah, Tommy Xero, & Vladimir Koloff as well. After years of being a kid growing up as wrestling fan by age 25 I already had an idea of how I wanted to present myself and gradually over time it would manifest into what wrestling fans around the dozen states I’ve worked so far would get know as “The Walking Horror Story”. A Thriller Movie Slasher like Monster come to life right in front of them. From Alabama to Mississippi to Tennessee, Georgia, Indiana, Florida, all the way back home to Maryland and beyond. I’ve had the opportunity to carve my own path into a world I love so much. & the cool part is, I’m only getting started.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Constant internal battles along with financial struggles before and during my time wrestling has played a factor in almost being my worst enemy and trying to pursue this dream of mine but luckily for me I’ve managed to make it work and persevere through it all.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an independent wrestler that goes under the name as “Ryan Razors”. I’ve been wrestling for over 3 years now and have traveled through multiple states making my name through the waves of the independent wrestling scene. The character known as “Ryan Razors” is known for his overall presentation and mystique / aura he brings to the table before a bell even rings. Something that’s easy to achieve out of an audience especially with how long I’ve been doing it. But when the bell rings you can expect the unexpected from someone his size to move as well he does while still scaring the life out of fans and even adversaries. From hard hits, to devastating slams and downright torture like maneuvers these are what has set myself apart from the average indie wrestling on the circuit. I’ve been able to market this character from Alabama to Indiana, Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi, Delaware, Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania & especially my home state of Maryland.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
My luck has put me in bad situations with the right kind of people to be around which has lead me to better opportunities later down the road.
