Shae, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’ve always known I wanted to be in the beauty industry ever since I was a young girl.

Makeup has always been a way for me to express myself.

At 15 years old, I started to perfect my craft and I practiced doing makeup on myself every day.

By the age of 18, I began to do makeup for proms, photoshoots and weddings and started receiving pay.

Just by receiving satisfaction, making other women feel beautiful, I knew I was in the right industry.

My Fairy Minks started as an addition to my makeup company “Bella Xpressions” because I always provided eyelashes with every makeup application I applied.

Over the years, mink eyelashes became very popular after all, lashes are a girl’s best-friend other than Diamonds.

Has it been a smooth road?
I believe all entrepreneurs struggle with the business side of things.

Struggle is a part of your journey to success.

When your first starting a new business, I believe you have to walk on faith and dedication.

Some days you may sale five products, on the other hand, you may sale 20 the next week.

Keeping a business running by yourself requires a lot of sacrifices and late nights.

If you love what you’re doing, it’s something your willing to work hard for.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Most people who stay in Atlanta are not from here. Personally, I am an “ATLien” and I love everything about my city! To be from here, you have to love the good and bad because that’s what makes your city. In Atlanta, Ga you can be anything you want to be and people will give you a chance. If your good at what you do and provide great customer service, you can only strive from there.
