Shemacia, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Well, Massage Therapy is always something that I wanted to do. I traveled through a couple of different avenues before settling on this one lol but once I did I’ve never been happier. We were founded in 2015 and it has been such a journey! A lot of ups and downs but never the less it has always been AMAZING! What drew me to this industry was the healing aspect behind it. I love the body and its ability to heal naturally and the more I can spread the word and the healing, the more people will be aware and understand that Massage isn’t a luxury but a Necessity.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
This journey has not been smooth at all!! LML the biggest struggle for me was believing in me really. I had a lot to overcome mentally and emotionally. No one wants to talk about those struggles not realizing that really half the battle is in your mind. Sure, there are the expected struggles as far as gaining clientele and residual income, but it starts with self. Once I was able to get self out of the way and walk in confidence and really believe in me… everything else was so much easier lol.

Massages By Mac – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Massages by Mac was founded in 2015, we are a mobile Massage company in Atlanta but we travel all over! We specialize in Spa parties, Wedding showers, and simple pampering massages (where it’s all about you). We take pride in being able to assist in the body natural healing but also aid in making you believe that you are worth the investment. We are known for providing quality massages but most importantly, we are known for providing knowledge and promoting health and wellness.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me simply means, to be winning in every area of your life! The best part about that is YOU define what winning looks like! To some, winning could be graduating school, to others it could be being a great mother or father… You define YOUR WIN! That is how you live your life by design and not default! • 60 min massage $75 if you come to us, if we come to you its an extra $25 for a travel fee
• Our Luxurious Spa Parties are top of the line for male and female and begin at $150 for 5 people ( includes Massage, Facials, scrubs and more)
