Meet Talor’d Tales of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Talor’d Tales.

Hi Talor’d, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a Saint Louis native who began my poetry journey as a way to cope with depression and anxiety. A pen a paper became my best friends with poetry as my therapist and the stage my release. Originally, my poetry consist of mental illness and past traumas I experienced but I wanted to let go and provide a more positive experience for my audience and stop re opening wounds—which led me to my erotic poetry. I’ve always been had the ability to create an experience through imagery and senses and eroticism aligned with my gift. What began as creating custom erotic stories for clients blossomed into “Tiffany” my alter ego. Erotic poetry not only is liberating but it gave me my body back from an assault. I’ve have many encounters with women who have told me that my words and giving sex a fun aspect has allowed me to then to revisit their relationship with intimacy or unpack their trauma from it. What’s different about my erotic poetry is the nuances I apply from cartoons, foods, anime’s, and battle rap inspiration. Poetry is what led me to Atlanta, where I curate Tiffany’s Playhouse—an erotic showcase with poetry, bdsm demonstrations, adult games, with burlesque, and sometimes singers . Along with Tiffany’s Playground—an erotic open mic with conversations surrounding bedroom talk. I wanted to create a safe space for others to express their sexual desires and be comfortable in their skin and kinks. We are all here because of sex and shouldn’t always have to subscribe to the taboo attached with it.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There are some challenges that endure with my journey, but it is necessary because I am a vessel used for others. An example is the false narrative of promiscuity because I am vocal about sex when in fact , I am only expressing from either past experiences or fantasies. In addition to often being overlooked or not receiving the acknowledgement of my gift because if my appearance. A lot of people do not pay attention to the double/triple entendres, metaphors, bars, I create ins schemes because they can’t get past the sexual dynamic and my attractiveness. While it is flattering, I take pride in the hard work I do and time I spend in writing, writing , and rehearsing my work—plus the countless hours I put into curating shows.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a spoken word artist, curator, and host who has two shows. Tiffany’s Playhouse and Tiffany’s Playground . Talor’d Tales is my stage name in which I perform traditional poetry and Tiffany is my alter go who does erotic poetry . I also won 2025’s National Best Erotic Spoken Word Artist. What’s different about my erotic poetry is the nuances I apply from cartoons, foods, anime’s, and battle rap inspiration. I wake up at 4/5 AM to go to the gym then work a 9-5 while still creating new pieces, performing, and curating two shows. I am always working. There is never a time that I am not working on contracts for artist, vendors, speaking with venues, meeting with my team, checking in with the poetry community to see how I can show up. I breathe poetry.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I honestly see my platform going national then international. Tiffany’s Playhouse will have many homes in different states while Talor’d Tales will be known everywhere. I hope to see myself also incorporating in battle rap. Not necessarily battling but having opportunity to have poetry segments in battle rap to show the range of poetry. Because rap it poetry without a beat. Poetry was here first then the rest follows. Furthermore, books will be published and poetry albums that has a touch of trap music.
