Meet Terri Watson of The Fabulouss Experience

Today we’d like to introduce you to Terri Watson.

Terri, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I am a makeup artist, and I began working as a makeup artist December 31st. I was working at a makeup counter, and it wasn’t fulfilling so I decided to create my own company. I began my makeup artistry company, Makemefabulouss, January 31st, 2017. I started my company solely off faith. Since I am a college student, I made sure to utilize my audience as much as possible and that is what allowed my company to flourish. We are currently rebranding to The Fabulouss Experience because we want a more luxury feel to the brand.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has not been smooth, and there have been many struggles along the way. I knew that I was talented, but it was hard trying to convince others of my talents, which is what I thought I had to do. Since I am a full-time student, and I work a part-time job, I was struggling with time-management. Staying strong and remembering that I have goals is what got me through those hard times.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about The Fabulouss Experience/ Make Me Fabulouss – what should we know?
I am a makeup artist, I specialize in natural glam. I am most proud of the growth of my company. I never thought that I would be a professional artist, and to have grown to the magnitude that I have is such a blessing. I work with many photographers in the Atlanta area, which has broadened my audience. Many people have had a hand in my success, which I am forever grateful for.

I am big on energy, and having good energy is what sets me apart from another artist. I am always perfecting my craft. I remain teachable always, and I stay humble to continue to receive as many blessings as possible.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I believe that it is important to be consistent especially as an entrepreneur. When I look back on how I was able to come this far I always credit it to consistency. I keep going and I am always trying to find ways to keep my company fresh.

• $75 fabulouss glam (20% for students with student i.d.)
• $200 private makeup lesson
• photoshoots of 3 models or more 80/hr
