Hi Tia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
First and Foremost, all praises and Glory belongs to God! He knows the desires of my heart and bring them to past EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I wouldn’t be as successful as I am today without his Love and Blessings!

I’ve always had a passion for being in the kitchen since I was a little girl. When my mother would prepare dinner, I always wanted to be a helping hand in some kind of way and learn how was she able to make some of the most flavorful fulfilling meals. Every meal was always prepared with love and patience. Over the years, I would incorporate those observations, cook for my family and post the final results on Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, etc. where I ended up receiving a lot of raving reviews on how amazing the food looks! Eventually, I’ve asked my followers would they like for me to make my passion for cooking into a business? The amount of YES! I received was unbelievable! You may ask, what does Boujee Bites mean? The word Boujee is usually associated with ‘one enjoying their riches’. Our home-cooked meals are just that! Rich in love, quality and most importantly, FLAVOUR with every bite that is taken. It brings nothing but pure joy and happiness to my heart to see how my business is so successful and flourishing when BoujeeBites has only been launched for 1 month— for that, I know God has many more blessings coming our way! Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road to being an entrepreneur hasn’t always been easy! Some days, you want to give up because business hasn’t flown the way it has 2 days ago, or you may have a set steady flow of customers instead of growing more customers rapidly as you had hoped! However, I’ve learned that IT IS OKAY! Nothing in life is easy or handed to you. I’ve picked myself up and leaned on God when I’ve wanted to give up or put my dreams on hold because I didn’t get the results I wanted in the very beginning. There has been countless amount of times I’ve had to make so many sacrifices to promote my business or gain a customer and it had been very rewarding in the end, all because I’ve walked by Faith and not by sight! Not everyone is going to agree with how you run your business, price your products or even promote what you have to offer! As long as you are confident and believe that God will not steer you the wrong way, TRUST YOURSELF and your craft and do not ever sell yourself short at the price of satisfying others!

As you know, we’re big fans of BoujeeBitesLLC💎🍽️. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am a 24-year-old Self-Taught Chef/Treat Maker. I am most known for our infamous Boujee Sweets which consists of any fruit of your choice dipped in a flavored candied melt, decorated with other options of candy depending on the flavour chosen along with crystal clear diamonds scattered throughout your tray… Customers have expressed to me that the presentation and quality of my treats/home-cooked meals set me apart from any other place that sells meals and/or treats. Also, every day of the week is themed to give our BoujeeBabes one of the best experiences when purchasing a plate! We have Soulful Sunday, *off on Mondays*, Taco Tuesday, Wing Wednesday, Tiki Thursday, Fruitful Friday and Freestyle Saturday. I always want to ensure my BoujeeBabes have the most luxurious experience when shopping with my business! I am most proud of the ‘BoujeeBites’ brand coinciding with the taste of our meals/treats. BoujeeBites offers delivery and pickup just so our BoujeeBabes can have options to their convenience! Quality is TOP priority when preparing our customer’s order and we will not ever leave you unsatisfied!

How do you define success?
Success is setting whether it be a short-term or long-term goal— fighting through whatever obstacles and/or hurdles that may get in your way and still coming out on top! A lot of times, we have the idea, the vision and the resources and start working towards the goal— but once a minor inconvenience gets in the way, we’ve given up! When working towards success, you have to know how to quickly adjust to setbacks in life and move forward, because those setbacks help builds the strength and courage to prepare you for your end results! Not everyone has the best intentions for you or your business, so when working towards these goals— do so in silence!
