Meet Tierika Moore of Montgomery

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tierika Moore.

Hi Tierika, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always loved the 90s. I would make 90s videos and post them on Facebook. One day one of my friends told me to post on tiktok and I was like negative that’s for young people. I posted the video and my tribe starting growing that same night.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. A lot of people discredited me, a lot of people told me to be more modern and when vintage things became popular, people started copying my style. A lot of people were scared to record in person so I started collaborating with creators out of state.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m most known as The90sBuzz, an aesthetic enthusiast who focuses on the 90s. I also sell vintage clothing. I specialize in photography and videography. I am the most proud of my “Da90sWay” series where it’s a collaborative skit of creators across multiple states. The thing that sets me apart from others is this is a lifestyle for me. If I could trade my cell phone for a pager I would.

How do you define success?
I define success as gaining personal values while being yourself and happy.
