Meet Tiffany Coley of Tiffany C. Beauty in North Atlanta/Gwinnett

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Coley.

Tiffany, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’ve always had a passion for makeup and photography. I remember as a little girl sneaking into the bathroom with my mother’s red lipstick and not only putting it on my lips but also using it as blush and eye shadow. By the time I reached high school, I was sneaking her eyeliner and mascara to school and applying it. I’ve always had this special love for beauty.

When I became of age, I began doing full faces on myself. Studying celebrity makeup artist and watching tutorials to learn about different skin types and products.

At 25, I took a leap of faith and dove into my passion for photography. I bought my first DSLR camera and began marketing myself and things took off for me. My clients would often ask me who does my makeup? I’d let them know me of course and the question that always followed was “can I pay you to do mine?” And at last, the makeup artist in me was born. I created Makeup and Photography bundle deals and my clients loved it!

In 2013, I had an incredible opportunity present itself. A couple of models from Atlanta emailed me and asked if I’d fly in and shoot them. I jumped on it and flew into Atlanta and shot the models and completely fell in love with Atlanta. Two years later I decided Atlanta would be my new home. I had the great opportunity to work with Celebrity Photographer Derek Blanks who has worked with celebrities like Nicki Minaj, Kelly Rowland Jennifer Hudson and more. As much as I loved the opportunity, it was then that I had sadly realized photography was no longer my passion. Photography started to feel too much like work and became stressful but makeup still felt fun and brought me satisfaction.

In 2017, I launched Tiffany C. Beauty Makeup Services and it’s been amazing since then. I get to do what I love and make others feel so beautiful, which really means so much to me.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Honestly, it was been a smooth road for me. I’m always learning new techniques and I truly like to keep myself aligned spiritually when I’m feeling challenged or overwhelmed.

Tiffany C. Beauty – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I’m a Industry Professional Makeup Artist. I have the pleasure of magnifying beauty in others, using my skills and beauty products. My motto is giving women glowing and flawless skin for any occasion. I provide makeup services for weddings, photo/ video shoots, special occasions, and events.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
One would be my growth and seeing how my skills evolve daily. The other would be how happy and satisfied my beautiful clients are when they see what I’ve done with their faces.
