Today we’d like to introduce you to Tre Paige.

Tre, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I moved to Atlanta after graduating from college in 2016. I was so used to being a college student for four years I had trouble adjusting to adulthood per se. I was so bored just waking up and working 8-10 hours in a corporate office and wanted to find something I actually enjoy. I decided to enroll in beauty school and quilt my office job. I picked up a part-time job at Ulta just to be surrounded by the industry. Hair was okay but I still didn’t feel the spark. February 2017 I decided to take an eyelash extensions course and boom! There was a spark! I realized that this was therapeutic for me and most of all taught me patience. Lol.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth road! It takes a lot of consistency and practice! It’s way more than what it seems. Just like any other business, you must nurture and tweak as much as possible. Every day is different. Every client is different. But that’s what builds you as a lash professional. And I like a challenge. If it was too easy, I probably wouldn’t be in the industry.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Lashdaddy Atl story. Tell us more about it.
Being a male the last artist is what sets me apart the most! It’s very rare but possible. I specialize in lash extensions. Most known to make my clients feel important and luxurious. The thing I’m most proud about is how I focused I am on just ME and growing as an artist. I go at my own pace and don’t try to keep up with what other lash artists are doing.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
It’s no luck. All faith. I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. I’ve always had a thing for entrepreneurship and beauty. Just didn’t know how and when. Moving here, enrolling in beauty school and taking the class was all supposed to happen.
