Meet Tyneise Seaborough of Seaborough Enterprises Publishing in Savannah

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyneise Seaborough.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Tyneise. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Shortly after graduating from college, I made the decision to relocate from Georgia to Virginia in order to pursue a career in the field of occupational therapy. I was granted the wonderful opportunity to provide a service to students located at five schools in the district. It became the joy of my life.

But within a year’s time, I LOST it ALL!!!

How?

The state of Virginia will allow a clinician in our field to practice on a temporary license for the course of a year. As my assignment came to a close, I registered and took my national board exam that I had been studying for.

The results?

A significant failure!

The anguish. The disappointment. The defeat.

I was devastated!

It was in this low place that I began to write my first book.

I created my own publishing company in order to publish my own work. But something crazy began to happen. People started to inquire about who published my book and if I could help them. This was such a pivotal moment in my life.

Within the last 16 years, we have served hundreds of authors and aspiring authors via book publishing, online trainings, book strategy sessions, and author workshops.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It’s been a fairly smooth one.

My intention was never to publish books for others so I never really marketed the business. Every client that we received initially was purely by word of mouth.

At the beginning of the year, the business shifted to mainly online trainings. Therefore, when COVID-19 hit, we had already made the shift online.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success as winning in life!

When I write books and host events that are bringing transformation, and healing to the hearts of women, children, and families, that’s a win.

When I pray for people and witness powerful results, that’s a win!

When I’m obedient to the Lord’s leadings in my everyday affairs, that’s a win.

When my family is happy and all our needs are taken care of, that’s a win!

Running a business with automation in place, is a huge win!

Witnessing authors meet their goals in book sales and publishing great books, is also a win!

And making good money is always a win.
