Hi Yuliana, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I created Mark Of Beauty Cosmetics from something I once felt insecure about the beauty mark on my lip. For a long time, I tried to hide it, but over time it became the very thing that inspired my brand. I wanted to create something that reminds women that the things we once felt insecure about can actually become the most beautiful part of who we are.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Building a business from the ground up has come with many challenges especially doing everything on my own. There have been moments of doubt, financial pressure, and times where I felt like I wasn’t seeing the growth I hoped for.

One of the biggest challenges has been staying consistent and believing in myself, even when things felt slow or uncertain. As a small business owner, you’re constantly learning, adjusting, and pushing forward, even when no one really sees the behind-the-scenes.

But through it all, I’ve continued to show up. My faith has played a big role in that reminding me that this journey has purpose, even in the difficult moments. Every challenge has helped me grow, not just as a business owner, but as a person. And I truly believe that everything I’m building now will be worth it.

We’ve been impressed with Mark Of Beauty Cosmetics , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Mark Of Beauty Cosmetics is a faith based beauty brand created to empower women to feel confident, seen, and beautiful in their own skin. What makes my brand truly special is that it was inspired by something I once felt insecure about the beauty mark on my lip, which is now the symbol behind my brand.

I specialize in creating lip products and beauty essentials that not only enhance your look, but also make you feel good about yourself. Everything I create is intentional from the shades to the packaging because I want every woman who wears my products to feel confident and reminded of her worth.

What sets my brand apart is the heart behind it. This isn’t just about makeup it’s about embracing who you are and finding beauty in the things that make you unique. I’m most proud of building this brand from the ground up, staying consistent even through challenges, and creating something that truly represents my story.

More than anything, I want people to know that Mark Of Beauty Cosmetics is about more than beauty products it’s about confidence, purpose, and reminding women that they are already beautiful just as they are.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
To be honest, I don’t see my journey as being driven by luck. There have been moments that people might call ‘good luck,’ but I truly believe they’ve been part of God’s timing and purpose for my life.

Building my business has taken a lot of consistency, patience, and faith especially during the moments that felt slow or uncertain. I’ve had to keep going even when things didn’t look the way I expected, and those moments taught me to trust the process more.

I believe that what some people call luck is really preparation meeting opportunity. Every step, whether it felt like a high or a low, has played a role in shaping my journey and my brand. And through it all, I’ve learned that staying faithful, working hard, and trusting God’s plan is what truly makes the difference.
