My sister Vanessa and I grew tired of the paycheck-to-paycheck approach, so we started brainstorming fast ways to generate revenue and landed on party rentals. Yes, we were nervous tunneling the funds we had into making this work. If you don’t take the risk, you’re already risking nothing.

During the height of the Covid era, we embraced our hustle mentality, and that’s how Fiesta Feliz: meaning “happy party” was born.
After all, who doesn’t like a little extra spending money?

With the cost of living rising, let’s ensure our bank accounts rise along with it.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it’s been tough, but that’s how character and strength are built. You adapt and learn to handle whatever comes your way, often unexpectedly.

Building a showering operation from scratch involves several challenges especially finding vendors who are both quality and honest.

Working with the right people matters. I’ve encountered a lot of gatekeeping, and that’s okay. A few no’s shouldn’t block you from what lies ahead. Stay persistent; it may feel repetitive, but it will pay off.

Do your homework and take calculated risks. That was the biggest hurdle for me.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
When I’m not running the photobooth with my team, I’m the cool aunt of 11 the aunt who jokes around a bit, but still gets things done.

I work in commercial finance and have been in the field for four years. It’s different from the booth world, but the team is great. I’m the personality in the space, haha. In short, I review, validate, and process client invoices for purchases, ensuring accuracy, eligibility, and compliance with company policies.

I’m a bit of a funny mess in the office just ask around. lol
