Rising Stars: Meet Dani And Coco of Atlanta and Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dani And Coco.

Hi Dani, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Coco and Dani first met at Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain Georgia in the 11th grade. From there, they stayed connected after college while celebrating holidays and birthdays.

One random day in 2020 during the height of COVID, they came up with an idea to share food and travel experiences through social media. They both had a love for discovering new foods and learning about different cultures through food and experiences.

Even when Coco moved to Dallas in 2022, they decided to change the name from “Eatwithdaniandcoco” to “foodiesonthemove”. They changed the concept of their brand to 2 long distance best friends who love to travel and eat.

From there, they realized they were really good at video editing and discovering new restaurants and exciting travel destinations. They began to work with different brands and networking among their peers.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not a smooth road.
We would say some obstacles are navigating being best friends and also business partners, remaining consistent in slow periods of work and making sure we still remain consistent on our social media and maintaining our brand while also navigating adulthood, life changes, and full time jobs.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We market restaurants and various businesses through content creation.

We also travel to multiple destinations in the United States and out of the country. This is where we create itineraries to make travel easier for everyone.

While we travel we showcase and review hotels and stays to help travelers all over the world.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
The quality that has been most important to our success is adaptability. In the food and travel industry, things are constantly changing—from travel plans and weather to content trends and brand opportunities. Being adaptable allows us to stay creative, work hard, and consistently deliver engaging content for our audience. We pride ourselves on being dependable partners, bringing a fun and positive energy to everything we do, and treating everyone we work with with kindness and respect. Those qualities together have helped us build strong relationships and continue growing our platform.
