Rising Stars: Meet Earrien Freeman of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Earrien Freeman.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started uploading comedy skits after visiting my cousin in Greensboro Ga. She showed me multiple Delano Edwards videos on YouTube in my middle school days. I started uploading comedy videos ever since. When I first started making videos in Middle School, no one in my city (Macon Ga,) understood. I eventually started to gain viral success when entering high school. Around 2012-2016 I began to gain a fan base at a young age and navigate social media pressure as a teen. Life got in the way at a certain point, which caused me to take a break. Once I came back (2020 ish) I introduced myself to TikTok. I started to be more consistent and understand the platform. Once I was familiar with TikTok I opened my mind to release my content on all platforms like Facebook and Instagram. I now navigate through the Atlanta area working on multiple projects to further my acting career. Atlanta has always shown me the most love. I love being there and working there.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is growing up in a glass home. Meaning, I was getting attention from social media as a kid and everyone in Macon knew my business. That plays a tough part on your mental and you have to be very strong to keep moving forward. Another main challenge is balancing your life with your content. Doing content is like a job and it takes hours to film sometimes. Balancing your daily life and relationships is hard because most people don’t understand what comes with that lifestyle. Also you have to be strong during your slow months or years and keep pushing until it’s your moment. You have slow moments where you are not popping as much as you used to and you can’t let that get to you or it will ruin you. It’s hard to keep going and posting content that makes people laugh when you are not laughing behind that camera.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I think what sets me apart from others is the fact that I am authentic and don’t really care about my public image. Once I learned I could still get millions of views without a haircut, I learned it’s about what you say. You can be extremely nice looking, but don’t have the talent to draw people into listening to you. I still consider myself a terrible actor but that is why I continue to audition and book roles, I need that practice! That is another thing that separates me. I Do Not Give Up!!! I do everything I say I am going to do. I am known for my comedy content. I am most proud of my child. He’s a nerd🤣 that’s my dawg for life.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
