Rising Stars: Meet Felix Farms of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Felix Farms.

Hi Felix, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Felix Farms was founded by Haley and Scott Waller in 2019, We grow cut flowers and sell bouquets at local farmers markets. We also supply flowers to local floral designers and create arrangements for weddings and events.

We have a corporate background for over a decade and were looking for something different. Different being something we were passionate about and could see ourselves enjoying in the long-run.

We’re high school sweethearts that worked together in a flower shop as teens (~2007). I (Haley) loved the creativity and design, and Scott enjoyed delivering to happy customers. Mixed with a love of flowers passed down from the women in my (Haley’s) family, it feels like home being surrounded by flowers.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We were very much used to the security of a salary and didn’t know what to expect from an entrepreneur perspective. We are so grateful to the Smyrna, Vinings area for allowing a dream like this to be an actual reality. We’re only able to supply fresh, local blooms because of the support of our community. We cannot thank you enough.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We love events and weddings. Most see us at farmer’s markets and assume we’re farm/wholesale only but design is also something we’re interested in.
