Rising Stars: Meet Gregory Todd of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gregory Todd.

Hi Gregory, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Got hooked on crack cocaine in 1985 incarcerated, a total of 41 times …almost Overdosed 4 times……3 separate suicide, attempts and stuck in homosexual activity for over 12 years… but ultimately and instantly set free in one night in August 200 on the way to the crack house… Through the awesome power of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ…:So now at 58 years old, I am married to my beautiful wife, Rachel. I’m a pastor and an international Christian rapper… at the end of the day. All I know is that Jesus is truly the way to the truth in the life. Amen amen and amen.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
my life has been anything but a smooth road getting addicted to crack cocaine at 15 years of age was one of the most devastating experiences I’ve ever known… I dropped out of high school in 1985 and without a job for any type of employment, in order to support my addiction, I turned to panhandling shoplifting, breaking, and entering and prostitution

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a husband first of all…a dad, …a granddad a Pastor Christian rapper and an individual whose acquired civil, other miscellaneous skills through different individuals in my life that allow me to provide for my family and the people in the world…. I specialize in landscaping in Lawncare and Christian rap music, some production, mostly riding and rapping….. I’m most proud of the man that I become because of what Jesus has done for me in my life what sets me apart from others is my unique form of deliverance from drugs and alcohol homosexual activity in one night over 27 years ago.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
if I learned nothing else about life in general, I’ve learned to stay connected Jesus and how important it is to hear his voice and follow his instructions
