Today we’d like to introduce you to Heather Ryan.
Hi Heather, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
We didn’t plan to build a brand! We just started sharing our puppies.
Clyde came into our lives first, a tiny toy poodle with a big personality. A few months later, Lola joined our family, and from the beginning, there was something special about the way they connected. What started as everyday moments, cuddling and playing, quickly felt like a story unfolding in real time.
When we launched Clyde Loves Lola in September 2025, we naturally began telling their story like a modern romantic comedy. Their relationship felt less like individual posts and more like scenes, especially as we started weaving in pop culture through movie recreations and familiar moments people instantly recognize.
What resonated wasn’t just that they were cute… it was that people became emotionally invested. From their New Year’s Eve “proposal” to their Valentine’s Day “wedding,” those moments felt like milestones people were experiencing with them.
Along the way, we’ve also shared training, fun movie recreations, educational information, and moments from local Atlanta events as part of their everyday life.
At its core, Clyde Loves Lola is still exactly what it started as – two toy poodle puppies completely obsessed with each other! We’ve just invited people to follow their story as it unfolds.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a perfectly smooth road, especially filming with two puppies. Clyde and Lola have big personalities, short attention spans, and their own ideas about what they want to do, so capturing even a few seconds of content can be unpredictable. What looks effortless on camera usually comes down to patience, timing, and learning to work with them and embracing who they are.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At the core, we create story-driven content centered around Clyde and Lola. We’re best known for turning everyday moments into a modern romantic comedy, using episodes, milestones, and pop culture-inspired movie recreations that people instantly recognize.
We also share weekly training and educational content, along with relatable day-to-day moments and features from local Atlanta pet-friendly events, creating a balance between entertainment, education, and real life.
What we’re most proud of is building something people feel emotionally connected to. It’s not just about cute content, our audience follows along, reacts to milestones, and feels like they’re part of the story.
What sets us apart is that everything connects back to one central idea – Love. It’s not just individual posts, it’s an ongoing story built around two puppies who genuinely adore each other, and that connection is what people keep coming back for.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
One thing that surprises people is that this all started with zero background in social media. Before Clyde Loves Lola, I wasn’t a content creator, I was just a mom of three sharing my puppies. It’s also very much a family effort, my kids are part of it behind the scenes, helping film, brainstorming ideas, and keeping it fun.
What’s been unexpected is how quickly it all grew. In just seven months, it’s become a community of over 35,000 across platforms, which still doesn’t feel real. We never set out to build something at this scale, it just happened by sharing something genuine, and that’s probably the most surprising part of all.
