Rising Stars: Meet Precious Bolden of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Precious Bolden.

Precious, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Peace!
My name is Precious Bolden , and I have been here with my three children , Princeton and Princess(twins) , and Pristine from Central Florida, since the beginning of COVID season . Before I left, I had gotten casted for an HBO in South Carolina called the Righteous Gemstones, I was chosen , along with 300 others. I couldn’t believe it! So honestly that’s what inspired me to move to Atlanta for more opportunities. To be honest , it was not as easy as I thought, mainly because I moved here , leaving a years long relationship with no family nor friends; just faith. Through homelessness , becoming immobilized, and other obstacles, I never lost hope . I needed to show my children that life is what you make it! Even broken crayons will still color! So for about 7 1/2 years, I have appeared in a few movies, commercials, shows, music videos, etc. I also just graduated from Liberty University with an Associate’s Degree in Legal Studies /Paralegal, May 16, 2026.!!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of the struggles along the way is that I had to live with my children a few times in extended stay hotels because I couldn’t get approved for housing. Another struggle I faced was lack of transportation at times , so getting to and from bookings became pricey and stressful. Sometimes, I had to lose out on fun to stack my funds and it was fine because I understand duality.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an actress, and student in the Legal Studies as a Paralegal. I have appeared on networks such as, but not limited to : HBO, NBC, Fox,BET, MTV,VH-1, Tubi, Amazon Prime Videos, Tyler Perry Productions, music videos, commercials , skits, etc. I am most proud of my resilience facing many challenges and obstacles but still overcoming them . What sets me apart from others is that I don’t follow trends . I show up authentic, bold, empowered and peaceful. I have been blessed with these amazing opportunities due to networking and social media ; I did it all with no agent! My first thought in the morning is how grateful I am to see another day , so I ask for opportunities and abundance to come to me ; with no harm attached .I believe in order to be number one, you cannot mind being seen as odd.
Wholeheartedly, my attitude is gratitude.

Any big plans?
My plans for the future is to further my education and currently about to start on my Bachelor’s degree as well. I plan to eventually either become a mediator, or to eventually practice meditation for low income people who cannot afforded regular counsel..Also, I plan to stay casting because I love tv and film opportunities as well. My ultimate dream role is to become casted lead as someone , Pearl Bailey or another singer maybe. I also would love to get into modeling and print.
