Rising Stars: Meet Remi Jones of Boston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Remi Jones.

Hi Remi, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started out as a television correspondent in New York City, interviewing independent artists. After about a year, I decided to branch out on my own and created Remi TV. From there, I began doing celebrity interviews while also highlighting business owners and entrepreneurs. Over time, the platform continued to grow and allowed me to combine my passion for media, storytelling, and uplifting others through positive and impactful content.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely has not been a smooth road at all. Being independent without a manager or publicist was one of the biggest challenges because I had to be my own everything in order to succeed. I had to learn how to network, market myself, secure interviews, build relationships, and create opportunities on my own.

Along the way, I experienced burnout, closed doors, and a lot of gatekeeping within the industry. There were moments when I wanted to quit because I felt like I had little to no support in the beginning. It was difficult trying to build something from the ground up while also trying to prove myself.

Despite those challenges, I kept pushing forward because I truly believe in the power of storytelling and uplifting others through media. Those struggles helped shape me into a stronger person, taught me resilience, and made me appreciate every opportunity and accomplishment even more.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a television correspondent, journalist, and the creator of Remi TV, a nationally distributed media platform focused on entertainment, business, community impact, and positive storytelling. Through Remi TV, I interview celebrities, entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders while also covering red carpets, film festivals, and major cultural events.

I specialize in storytelling that highlights people’s journeys, accomplishments, and impact. While I enjoy celebrity interviews and entertainment coverage, I’m also passionate about using media to uplift others and bring attention to important stories that may not always receive recognition. Over the years, Remi TV has grown into a platform that blends entertainment with purpose.

One of the things I am most proud of is building Remi TV independently from the ground up and turning it into a nationally distributed platform without having a major team or industry connections in the beginning. I am also proud of creating the Remi TV Awards, which celebrates unsung heroes, entrepreneurs, creatives, and community leaders while giving people a platform to feel seen and appreciated.

What sets me apart is my authenticity and the way I connect with people. I genuinely care about the stories I tell and the people behind them. I don’t just focus on entertainment; I focus on impact, positivity, and creating meaningful conversations that inspire others.

How do you define success?
I define success as being able to create impact while staying true to who you are. For me, success is not just about recognition or accomplishments, but about using my platform and my work to uplift others, inspire people, and open doors for those who may not always have a voice or opportunities.

I also believe success is about growth, resilience, and purpose. There were many moments where I faced challenges, rejection, and burnout, but continuing to push forward and build something meaningful despite those obstacles is a form of success to me.

Most importantly, I define success by the lives you touch along the way. If my work can encourage someone, motivate them, or make them feel seen and valued, then I feel like I’m doing what I’m meant to do.
