Rising Stars: Meet Traci Williams of Philadelphia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Traci Williams.

Hi Traci, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
T Design Solutions began in 2015 as a freelance creative service focused on event materials, promotional graphics, and design support for small businesses and community initiatives. While I had the talent and passion, I lacked the structure and strategic direction needed to fully build with intention.

Everything shifted when I began pursuing entrepreneurship full time in 2024. What started as freelance design evolved into a purpose-driven Brand Refresh and Brand Positioning business serving authors, speakers, coaches, and purpose-driven entrepreneurs.

Over the last three years, I’ve intentionally refined my business to focus on strategy, transformation, and long-term impact helping clients show up with clarity, confidence, and authority. Today, my business is built around stronger systems, a smoother client experience, intentional branding solutions, and strategic content designed to attract aligned, high-value clients.

Most importantly, I’ve grown into a deeper confidence in the value I bring. What once felt like a side project has become a business I’m genuinely proud to lead, with tremendous opportunities ahead for continued growth, influence, and impact.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. There were times when I became deeply disenchanted with entrepreneurship, but looking back, much of that came from lacking clear purpose and direction.

Some of my biggest struggles were not having consistent ways to book clients, lacking proper sales funnels and follow-up systems, and believing I needed funding when I really needed visibility and clients. I also had a habit of making simple things harder than they needed to be.

For example, I spent so much time helping clients build strong brands that I neglected my own. Something as simple as consistently showing up on social media for my business became difficult, even though I did it well for others.

Over time, I realized entrepreneurship is not just about talent it’s about systems, consistency, visibility, and confidence in your value. Once I became more intentional and purpose-driven, my business began to grow in a more sustainable and meaningful way.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m the Founder and Brand Designer of T Design Solutions, LLC, where we help authors, speakers, coaches, and impact-driven entrepreneurs who have outgrown their brands through our Brand Refresh System — giving them greater brand clarity within their prospective market and positioning them to show up with confidence, strategy, and authority.

’m known for helping clients transform outdated or inconsistent branding into clear, polished, and strategic brand experiences that reflect the level they’re stepping into. My work goes beyond design — I help people gain clarity, confidence, and direction in how they present themselves and their businesses.
What I’m most proud of is the evolution of both my business and myself. What started in 2015 as freelance design work eventually grew into a purpose-driven company built around strategy, transformation, and impact.

What sets me apart is my ability to combine strategy, creativity, and genuine connection. I care deeply about the people behind the brands, and I create work that not only looks visually strong, but also positions clients for greater visibility, credibility, and growth.”

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something surprising that many people don’t know about me is that I’ve been face painting since I was 16 years old. I also regularly participate as a vendor at community events like Jazz on the Ave and the Uhuru Book Fair, and I’ve volunteered with the Walter E. Brandon Sickle Cell Foundation Annual 5K. Creativity has always been a part of who I am, and those experiences have allowed me to connect with people beyond business in ways that are fun, meaningful, and community-centered.. I had the blessed opportunity to have my mom as my manager.
