Story & Lesson Highlights with Brittney Price of Birmingham

We recently had the chance to connect with Brittney Price and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Brittney, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day is total mindfulness. I wake up in prayer, drop to the side of my bed and begin stretching and meditating. I drink a bottle of #eleven86realartesianwater go jogging/walking for 30 minutes. No phones included.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Brittney Price, my brand is PRICELESS MOTIVATION LLC; a self development/motivational brand. We focus on building the mindset. All of our battles start and end with the mindset. Building the inside isnt a main focus for many people today. We display many avenues, we offer services to assist you and we are being the change we want to see. You Our motto is
“Motivating you towards success” we give you the push in the proper direction towards your dreams, your goals and overall self development. Many people will soon learn in life, we are our biggest project. Self development is forever.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
As early as 6 years old… I was doing pedicures, laying tracks and doing manicures for my mother and sister. I was trusted at a young age. My uncle also trusted me with big girl tasks at a young age. Having people who believe in you early and seeing your worth is powerful in itself. Not only my family but anybody who came into contact with me…never second guessed my abilities. Not only did I feel powerful, I felt the trust. When people trust you to be in control and lead, you have a duty to show up. I knew I could do anything and from there…I did. I learned how to do everything and I was always learning. My goals was to be self sufficient and build value at a young age. I accomplished that and more.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
Operating as a single parent households. It was tough at first to digest that a fairytale didn’t exist for me in that moment. I started over with a one year old baby. That wound started to close when people who loved me poured into me. My family stepped in big time. My mother, was huge and still is in assisting me with my child. In no order… Self development, shadow work, accountability and my village helped me pull through. The story will not always go as planned, that’s why you have the sequel…lol. STAY TUNED

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What important truth do very few people agree with you on?
We are the reason for all of our problems. Whether we take accountability or not… at some point we all must look within.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
Detachment is important to master at a certain point in life. Nothing is permanent. Life is one big transition and we must prepare mentally to leave things behind, walk away from people and materials. Nothing belongs to you. Its all borrowed. Enjoy it in the moment but prepare.
