Story & Lesson Highlights with Jaden Hobson of Atlanta, GA

Jaden Hobson shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Jaden, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
I’m most proud of the work nobody sees. All the late nights, the planning, the mistakes, and the persistence it took to get MotionForever off the ground. The brand is what people notice, but the real grind happens behind the scenes I would say

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Jaden, the founder and designer of MotionForever, a brand I started in 2022 to inspire people through bold design and meaningful/powerful messages. What makes us different is that every piece carries a purpose it’s not just clothing, it’s a reminder to chase your ambition and go after what you believe

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a kid, I believed persistence and consistency came naturally to me. That if I wanted something, I’d just keep going without wavering. As I’ve grown, I’ve realized it takes real discipline and intention to stay persistent and consistent. It’s not automatic, it’s something I have to build every day

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me patience and resilience that real growth comes from struggle. Success feels good but it doesn’t shape you the way pain and setbacks do. Suffering showed me how to keep moving forward even when nothing feels certain, and that lesson sticks longer than any win

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes the public me is the real me. No masks, no acts.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I’m not sure what people will misunderstand about my legacy, but if anything, it might be how much sacrifice went into it. People see the results, the clothes, the message. But they don’t always see the late nights, the setbacks, and the persistence it took to build something real
