Today we’d like to introduce you to Taliah Miller.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Taliah. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Doing hair was always a hobby for me. I would do my dolls hair as a little girl, which upgraded to me doing my own hair at 10 years old. I then started doing my cousin’s hair, which then led to others. By high school, I was doing my friend’s hair before, during, and after school. I started taking Cosmetology classes at the beginning of my 11th-grade year in high school. The day I graduated from El Camino Real High is the same day I completed Cosmetology School. Summer 2004 is when I passed my State Board and officially became licensed, but I was conflicted. I was already accepted into California State University-Dominguez Hills, and I already had a skill I could use to make money and skip college altogether. I decided to go to school and still did hair out of my dorm room. I graduated college with a degree in Communications and in Marketing, all the while still building my clientele. I was hired by a small post-production company in Los Angeles, where my professional career in the entertainment industry began. Over the years, I have worked for the likes of MTV, Centric, VH1, Lionsgate BET, and currently CNN, but all while still building clientele. I still had not figured out how to combine my two loves together. In 2014, I started Krush Beauty LLC by providing my clients with the products that they kept asking for: virgin hair. From there, it has expanded and now we offer a variety of hair care products. We also give back to the community by providing custom hair replacement solutions for women affected by chemotherapy or alopecia. We want them to “Krush” on their beauty because when you look at your best, you feel your best. Krush On Your Beauty.
