Today we’d like to introduce you to Diamond Coles.

Hi Diamond, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began modeling in Atlanta in 2018. I started because I built my Instagram platform and photographers began to reach out to me. I’ve continued to work with brilliant creatives and like-minded individuals that have propelled me to my present. I’m beyond honored to be in my field representing locs and natural beauties!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It’s been a relatively smooth road because I pride myself on continually learning and never seeing struggles as obstacles but rather as invitations to grow.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a full-time content creator on YouTube and Instagram. I specialize in locs, modeling and uplifting Black-owned businesses through my platform. I am most proud of the community that I have built! I believe the way I engage with my community sets me apart. I recognize that they are the reason I’m able to do what I love so, I always engage in whatever way I can!

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My biggest supporter is my mom! She was actually my first photographer and manager. Whenever I didn’t feel like posting or I was afraid to take a job, she encouraged and propelled me forward. She’s always been my first customer and a major part of the selection committee! Through her constant support, I am able to create and feel encouraged to be the best possible version of myself!
