Today we’d like to introduce you to DeOntra Winn.

Hi DeOntra, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always wanted to form a community where women could lean on one another confidently. So often, different discussions amongst one another are deemed as Taboo and I wanted to change that. A little over a year ago, I began brainstorming about different ways to help women feel and exude confidence at all times. I begin to speak with close family and friends about my ideas and that’s where it all began. I knew at that time that I had a mission to carry out. I began to research different natural remedies and products that would help aid women in Self Care. I wanted to be able to offer women products and services that truly helped them. Today, I continue to research and spread the word about the products and services that I offer. I have gotten to be where I am from support, dedication and, honestly, hard work. I always keep in mind that I’ll never know everything, which means that there is always something to learn.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I believe that with any idea, there’s always the first question of “where do I start.” Beginning seemed to be the struggle for me. There was always one more thing I needed to do or saying it’s not perfect yet. Jumping out on faith was the best thing that I could have ever done. Constantly being driven to present the best that Bare Nature Spa & Essentials had to offer was and is still my driving force. I believe that validity is what slows us down, but refocusing that energy from those thoughts back into yourself in a positive way will uplift you and therefore carry over to your business. It’s always the bumps in the road that make the ride!

I am the owner of Bare Nature Spa & Essentials, located in the heart of downtown Montgomery, AL. I perform all services from Hair removal, Yoni Steams and Body Contouring. We are known for our Brazilian hair removal services, retailing Yoni Pops and other natural feminine self-care products. We take time to ask questions and build genuine relationships with each of our clients and offer great customer service. We pride ourselves on building relationships and trust, setting us apart. We strive to give our customers a great experience at each of their visits. It makes me so proud to hear feedback from customers, receive referrals and to know that my brand is making a difference.
