Hi Dear Pricey, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always had a passion for music, but I didn’t decide to pursue production seriously until I realized it was what I truly wanted to build my future around. I started by learning everything I could, spending countless hours making beats, studying the craft, and constantly challenging myself to improve.

Like most producers, the journey has come with its share of ups and downs. Breaking into the industry takes patience, consistency, and a willingness to keep creating even when no one is watching. Every project has taught me something new and helped shape my sound.

Today, my focus is on creating music that connects with people and helps artists bring their vision to life. I’m continuing to grow as a producer, build meaningful relationships, and establish a name for myself in the industry. I see this as just the beginning, and I’m excited to keep evolving with every opportunity that comes my way.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been transitioning into a completely different industry. A lot of people knew me for my engineering background, so stepping into music production meant starting over and proving myself in a new space.

Another challenge has been learning to trust the process. There are moments when progress feels slow, opportunities don’t come as quickly as you’d like, and it’s easy to compare yourself to others. I’ve also had to balance creating music with everyday responsibilities while continuing to invest in my growth.

Those experiences have taught me resilience and patience. They’ve reminded me that success isn’t built overnight—it’s built through consistency, continuous learning, and showing up even when things don’t go as planned. Looking back, those challenges have made me a better producer and have strengthened my commitment to the path I’m on.

I’m a music producer focused on creating records that help artists tell their stories in an authentic way. I specialize in building beats and production that are versatile, emotional, and intentional. Whether it’s hip-hop, R&B, or melodic records, my goal is always to create music that feels timeless rather than just chasing trends.

What I’m most proud of is my growth. I came into this industry from a completely different career, so every opportunity I’ve earned has been the result of hard work, consistency, and a commitment to improving my craft. That journey has taught me to appreciate every milestone and never stop learning.

What sets me apart is my perspective. Coming from an engineering background, I approach music with both creativity and precision. I’m intentional about every detail—from sound selection to arrangement—while still making sure the music connects emotionally. I also believe in putting the artist first. My job isn’t just to make a great beat; it’s to create a sound that helps bring an artist’s vision to life and gives them something they can truly own.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
One thing that surprises people is that I didn’t start out in music full-time—I came from an engineering background. Most people assume I’ve always been in the music industry, but my path has been a little different.

I think that background has shaped the way I produce. I’m very detail-oriented and intentional with my process. I enjoy breaking down sounds, experimenting, and finding creative solutions, which is something I carried over from engineering into music.

Another thing people might not know is that I’m constantly studying my craft. I’m always listening to producers I admire, learning new techniques, and looking for ways to improve. I believe growth never stops, and that mindset is just as important to me as talent.
