Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrian Gamble.

Hi Adrian , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up playing sports and I have been playing football my whole life. I played at the University of Virginia before Transferring and finishing my football career at the University of Tennessee. When I finished my football journey I wanted to find purpose and reinvent myself. I’ve always had an eye for fashion and studied brands and styles so I decided to try to make my own clothes. I went out and bought a beginner sewing machine and followed along with YouTube videos and it became a form of therapy for me to sew. I started to explore the design community in my city a little more and ran into some designers who were willing to show me some tips. This journey has pulled me closer to God and put a lot of things in perspective for me. I’ll always appreciate everyone who helped me sharpen my skills. I am now going into year 5 of sewing and I’ve created a lot of work that I’m proud of but I always strive to get better.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road at all. Sewing is activity that requires a lot of patience. Learning to sew was a battle because you want everything’s to look perfect but there’s so much to learn.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a cut and sew designer who specializes in leather jackets. Both luxury fashion designs and sports inspired designs. I’m most proud of my line work. I take pride in making sure my lines match up with line work from luxury brands. What sets me apart from others the experience. I want to connect with my clients. The more you connect with a client the more they trust you to deliver. Everything about the design process should feel personalized.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Going to Eastland mall buying Jordans when my mom got her bonus checks.
