Today we’d like to introduce you to Cynthia Decker.
Hi Cynthia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey has been anything but traditional. I studied lingerie design in London in 1992 and spent years helping women find bras that truly fit, eventually co-founding LiviRae Lingerie in Georgia. Over nearly two decades, I had the privilege of fitting thousands of women from all walks of life and educating them about how the right bra can completely change not only how they look, but how they feel about themselves. That journey eventually led to television, where many people came to know me through Double Divas on Lifetime and appearances on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk.
Life took an unexpected turn after the heartbreaking loss of my 15-year-old son, Mahlon, in 2017. His passing changed every part of my life and forced me to reevaluate what truly mattered. Since then, I’ve faced personal, financial, and health challenges that have required me to rebuild from the ground up. While that season has been incredibly difficult, it has also taught me resilience, compassion, and the importance of finding purpose through serving others.
Today, I’m creating a new chapter. Through my virtual bra fitting business, The Bra-blem Solver, I continue helping women find confidence and comfort no matter where they live. At the same time, I’ve begun creating handmade comfort products under Mama C’s Mercantile, combining my love of sewing with products designed to bring warmth, healing, and encouragement to others.
Looking back, I realize my career has never really been about bras or products—it has always been about people. Whether I’m helping someone feel confident in their own skin, creating something that brings comfort during a difficult season, or sharing my story to encourage someone else not to give up, that’s what drives me. My hope is that the next chapter of my life isn’t defined by the hardships I’ve faced, but by the people I’m able to help because of them.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve experienced incredible highs and some devastating lows. After spending nearly two decades building a successful business and appearing on television, I unexpectedly found myself starting over. At 55 I have learned time with family, faith and doing what makes you happy are whats truly important in life. You can be on top of the world, money and fame and then in an instance it can be taken. I have had to learn to have discernment in life, especially in business.
I’ve faced significant health challenges, financial setbacks, and the difficult process of rebuilding both personally and professionally. There were seasons where I questioned everything and wondered if I would ever find my footing again.
Looking back, those experiences taught me resilience, empathy, and the importance of staying true to my purpose. Today, I don’t measure success by television appearances or business growth alone. Success is knowing I’ve made a difference in someone’s life—whether that’s helping a woman finally find a bra that fits comfortably, creating a handmade product that brings comfort during recovery, or simply encouraging someone who feels like they’re starting over, too.
My faith in God has been the foundation that has carried me through every setback. Even when I couldn’t see the path ahead, I trusted that He wasn’t finished with my story. I believe every challenge has prepared me to serve others with greater compassion and purpose.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that our hardest seasons often prepare us for our greatest purpose. I wouldn’t have chosen many of the challenges I’ve faced, but they’ve shaped me into someone who understands firsthand what it means to rebuild with hope.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about The Bra-blem Solver?
The Bra-blem Solver was created to remove the barriers that keep women from getting a professional bra fitting. For years, women traveled from all over the country to visit me at LiviRae Lingerie. I realized there were countless others who couldn’t make the trip because of distance, health, busy schedules, or simply not having a specialty bra boutique nearby. That’s why I created a completely virtual fitting experience.
Today, I can professionally fit women anywhere in the world from the comfort of their own homes. Through a personalized one-on-one consultation, I evaluate their current fit, determine their correct size and breast shape, recommend styles from multiple brands, and teach them how a bra should actually fit. My goal isn’t to sell a particular brand—it’s to educate women so they can confidently shop wherever they choose.
What truly sets me apart is more than 30 years of experience fitting thousands of women of every age, size, and stage of life. I’ve helped teenagers buying their first bra, brides, athletes, nursing mothers, breast cancer survivors, women after reconstruction or augmentation, and women simply searching for comfort. Every fitting is as unique as the woman I’m helping.
One of the things I’m most proud of is that I can now reach women who never would have had access to this level of expertise. Whether someone lives in Atlanta, a small rural town, another state, or another country, they can receive the same personalized guidance they would have received if they had been sitting in my fitting room.
My mission has always been about more than bras. It’s about helping women feel comfortable, confident, and empowered in their own bodies. If I can help a woman stand a little taller, feel more comfortable, or finally enjoy getting dressed again, then I’ve done my job.
What were you like growing up?
I grew up as an only child with a very small extended family, so I learned early on how to entertain myself. I was always creating something—drawing, painting, sewing, or dreaming up my next project. Art was my favorite subject throughout school, and I eventually majored in art before following my passion to study fashion design and lingerie design in London.
I’ve always had a small circle of close friends rather than a large social group. At heart, I’m actually an introvert, although many people are surprised to hear that because I can easily step into an extroverted role when I need to. Whether it’s speaking in front of a crowd, teaching, or appearing on television, I’ve learned to become comfortable outside my comfort zone. I think that’s one of the reasons I was able to embrace opportunities like Double Divas while still enjoying the quiet moments at home surrounded by my animals, gardening, painting, and creating.
Anyone who knows me well will probably tell you I have a sarcastic sense of humor and don’t take myself too seriously. I love making people laugh, solving problems, and finding creative ways to help others. Looking back, creativity has always been the common thread running through my life—whether it’s art, fashion, sewing, business, or simply finding new ways to encourage people.
