The Story Behind NeverMindCreating Productions, LLC

Before graduating from high school, I knew that one day I would own a business and be an entrepreneur and build a business that was meaningful to me. I had a passion for music, media, and creativity, and I dreamed of owning a music studio while providing media services that would help others bring their visions to life.

I prayed and asked God to guide me toward a purpose driven business something I would be passionate about and something that could positively impact others. As I sought direction, I was reminded of the biblical principle to write the vision and make it plain. With faith, planning, and perseverance, God opened the door for me to establish NeverMindCreating Productions.

The name NeverMindCreating Productions was inspired by my initials, NMC: Nicholas M. Cousar but it carries a much deeper meaning. The name reflects the belief that we were all created by the Creator to create. Its message is simple yet powerful: Never mind using the gifts God has given you to create, build, inspire, and make a difference in the lives of others.

NeverMindCreating Productions was not just a business idea; it was a vision given to me by God and built from a deep passion for bringing people’s ideas to life. Today, that vision continues through every event, production, and creative project we are privileged to be a part of.

My journey started in 2011 when I was in college earning a business degree in management. I began working in the photo booth industry alongside my Mentor of Atlanta Social Booth Christopher Whitehead, is not only a mentor but who is also my brother and inspiration. That experience introduced me to the event industry and showed me the power of creating unforgettable experiences through Party and Entertainment Services and fun with photography, Videography and Photobooth.

In 2016, I took a leap of faith and founded NeverMindCreating Productions with a vision of offering more than just a service I wanted to help people bring their ideas and visions to life in a way that creates lasting memories. What began with photo booth experiences has grown into a full-service creative company offering photography, videography, Open Air Photobooth, 360 photo booths, DJ entertainment, and bartending services for weddings, corporate events, birthdays, churches, and community celebrations.

Along the way, I’ve continued to develop my creative and technical skills while working professionally in media, production, and customer service. Every event is an opportunity to tell a story, celebrate a milestone, and make people smile.

Today, NeverMindCreating Productions is driven by one simple mission: to create unforgettable experiences through creativity, professionalism, and exceptional service. Whether it’s capturing a once-in-a-lifetime moment or helping a client bring their vision to life, we are committed to honoring the gift God has given us and using it to serve others through creativity.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many small business owners, I’ve faced challenges with building a client base, managing finances, marketing the business, and balancing a full-time career while growing NeverMindCreating Productions. There were times when bookings were slow, equipment needed upgrading, and I had to invest back into the business instead of paying myself.

One of the biggest lessons has been learning that success doesn’t happen overnight. Every challenge taught me something whether it was improving customer service, refining my brand, or expanding the services we offer. Those experiences pushed me to grow from simply offering photo booth services into a full-service creative production company.

The journey has required faith, consistency, and perseverance, but each obstacle has made the business stronger. Looking back, those struggles helped shape the company and the entrepreneur I am today, and they continue to motivate me to keep creating unforgettable experiences for every client.

We specialize in photography, videography, open-air and 360 photo booth experiences, DJ entertainment, and bartending services for weddings, corporate events, churches, schools, nonprofits, and private celebrations.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that success is built through consistency, relationships, and faith. Talent can open doors, but showing up, delivering quality work, and treating people with respect are what create lasting opportunities. You must have the faith to stay focused to finished.

I’ve also learned that every challenge has a purpose. There were seasons when business was slow, plans didn’t work out, or I questioned whether I was on the right path. Instead of giving up, I used those moments to improve my skills, invest in my business, and adapt to what my clients needed.

Another lesson is that your reputation is one of your greatest assets. Every event, no matter the size, deserves the same level of excellence because you never know where the next opportunity will come from. Many of our clients come through referrals, which reminds me that the way you serve people today shapes the opportunities you’ll receive tomorrow.

Above all, I’ve learned to trust God’s timing. Building NeverMindCreating Productions has been a journey of faith, perseverance, and continuous growth. I’m grateful for every lesson because each one has helped shape both the business and the person I’ve become.
