Today we’d like to introduce you to June- Marie Outlaw.

Hi June- Marie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been someone who naturally brings people together. Looking back, I realize I’ve spent much of my life creating the very things I was looking for meaningful connections, encouraging spaces, opportunities to grow, and experiences where people feel seen, valued, and inspired. That’s really how my journey began.

One of the most personal parts of my story is how I got started in etiquette. My father, who passed away over ten years ago, believed deeply in manners, respect, and carrying yourself with confidence. He instilled those values in me, while my mother quietly modeled them every day. Although my father’s approach wasn’t always gentle, the lessons themselves stayed with me. After he passed away, I found myself asking, “How can I honor the good he gave me without carrying forward the pain?” That question became the foundation of my etiquette business.

As I looked around, I noticed there was a growing need for etiquette, confidence, and life skills. Rather than focusing on what was missing or criticizing anyone, I decided to become part of the solution. I wanted to teach children and adults the same timeless principles my parents taught me, but in a way that was encouraging, empowering, and rooted in grace. That decision transformed something painful into something purposeful.

That heart has carried into everything I’ve built through She Knows Experience. Whether I’m hosting etiquette workshops, high tea experiences, business and content workshops, prayer gatherings, or community events, my goal has always been the same: to encourage people to become the best version of themselves while creating meaningful connections along the way.

I also created The She Knows Motivational Collection Line , because I believe what we wear can remind us of who we are. The She Knows Motivational Collection Line encourages women to remember their strength, worth, faith, courage, and limits. Through conversations over the years and my passion for encouraging healthy relationships, I was inspired to create the He Knows Motivational Collection Line as well because it was brought to my attention that men need encouragement too. They also deserve reminders of their value, purpose, and strength.

I’ve always enjoyed creating intentional experiences that bring people together. I’ve hosted events for entrepreneurs, women, couples, and families because I believe community matters. I believe in collaboration over competition, and I genuinely enjoy supporting other businesses and creating opportunities where everyone can grow together.

Writing my book, The Why Behind My Etiquette, was another meaningful milestone because it allowed me to share not just etiquette, but the deeper “why” behind it. For me, etiquette has never been about perfection or appearances. It’s about making people feel respected, valued, and comfortable.

Like many people, my journey hasn’t been without challenges. I’ve experienced unexpected seasons that have stretched me personally, including divorce. Yet those experiences haven’t changed what I believe they’ve strengthened it. I still believe in love. I still believe in marriage. I still believe in community, healing, grace, and new beginnings. Those experiences have simply given me a deeper compassion for people and an even greater desire to create spaces where they leave feeling more hopeful than when they arrived.

Today, everything I create is rooted in one mission: taking life’s experiences the beautiful and the difficult and using them to encourage, equip, and inspire others. If someone leaves one of my events, reads my book, wears one of my shirts, or simply has a conversation with me feeling more confident, more hopeful, or more refined than before, then I know I’m walking in the purpose God has given me.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. If anything, my journey has reminded me that growth and purpose are often developed in the middle of life’s hardest seasons.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced has been walking through divorce. It has been the most difficult season of my life not simply because my marriage ended, but because it forced me to confront parts of myself that I had overlooked for years. As I grieved the loss of my marriage, I also found myself healing wounds from long before I became a wife. It became a season of healing my inner child, learning to process my emotions instead of suppressing them, and allowing myself to be honest about where I was emotionally.

There were moments when I experienced deep sadness and even wrestled with depression. For someone who has spent years encouraging, inspiring, and pouring into others, I had to learn how to extend that same grace to myself. I realized that strength isn’t pretending everything is okay. Sometimes strength looks like taking a break, asking for help, praying through the hard days, and giving yourself permission to heal.

Professionally, there were challenges as well. I’ve relocated, started over, rebuilt, and had seasons where I questioned what was next. But each transition taught me resilience and reminded me that purpose isn’t tied to a location or a title it’s something you carry wherever you go.

Through it all, my faith has remained my anchor. Even in the hardest moments, I chose gratitude. I continued to worship, continued to trust God, and continued to encourage others while learning to encourage myself. That doesn’t mean I always felt strong; it means I learned that God’s strength often meets us in our weakest moments.

Looking back, I wouldn’t describe my journey as easy, but I would describe it as transformative. Those experiences taught me to stop living to prove something to other people or even to myself and instead live authentically, lead with compassion, and embrace the woman God is continually shaping me to become. Today, I don’t lead from perfection. I lead from experience, faith, and the belief that even life’s hardest seasons can produce something beautiful.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My work is centered around one thing: helping people become the best version of themselves. I often say that I represent all things etiquette, motivation, and real estate because those areas have shaped both my professional career and my personal purpose.

Professionally, I have spent nearly 20 years in property management, where I have grown from a part-time property manager into leadership roles including Regional Manager and Director of Property Management. My career has given me a strong foundation in leadership, communication, relationship-building, team development, and creating positive experiences for people.

I don’t just lead with passion; I lead with a combination of passion and professional experience. My corporate career has taught me the importance of serving people well, developing leaders, building confidence within teams, and creating environments where people feel valued and empowered.

Through She Knows Experience, I bring those same principles into my entrepreneurial work. I specialize in etiquette education, motivational experiences, personal development, and creating intentional spaces where people feel encouraged, valued, and inspired. Whether I’m hosting an etiquette workshop, a high tea experience, a prayer gathering, a business workshop, or a community event, my goal is always to leave people better than I found them.

Confidence is at the heart of much of what I do. I believe confidence is built when people understand their worth, embrace who they are, and recognize the purpose God has placed inside of them. Through encouragement, faith, prayer, and intentional experiences, I help remind people that they are capable, valuable, and equipped for the next level of their journey.

One of the things I am most proud of is turning personal experiences into purpose. My etiquette business was born from taking something difficult from my childhood and transforming it into something that could positively impact others. Instead of focusing on what was missing, I chose to become part of the solution.

I’m also proud of my book, The Why Behind My Etiquette, because it represents my belief that etiquette is about more than manners. It’s about confidence, respect, self-awareness, character, and how we make people feel. My motivational Collection Line including the She Knows Collection and the He Knows Collection, were created to serve as daily reminders of strength, worth, faith, courage, and purpose.

What sets me apart is the combination of my experiences. I bring together corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, etiquette, motivation, faith, prayer, and a genuine love for people. I don’t believe in simply teaching concepts I believe in creating experiences that allow people to see themselves differently and walk away with renewed confidence.

At the heart of everything I do is connection. I want people to leave my presence feeling encouraged, equipped, and reminded that they have more potential, purpose, and possibility within them than they may realize. My mission is to inspire people to show up confidently, live intentionally, and walk boldly in who they were created to be.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
The greatest resource that helps me do my best in life is my faith. My relationship with God, prayer, and studying the Bible are the foundation of who I am personally and professionally. My faith has carried me through seasons of growth, transition, and challenges, and it continues to guide how I lead, serve, and encourage others.

My faith community has also played an important role in my growth. Being connected to Triumphant Church in Nashville, TN under the leadership of Bishop Fred Matthews Jr. has provided me with spiritual guidance, encouragement, and a community that continues to strengthen my walk with God.

I also believe in the importance of remaining teachable and learning from others. The Social Proof Podcast with David Shands and Donni Wiggins has been incredibly impactful in my entrepreneurial journey. Their conversations around business, mindset, leadership, and building with purpose have encouraged me to continue thinking bigger.

I am also grateful for mentors who have invested in my development. Elaine Swann with The Swann School of Protocol played a significant role in my journey by certifying me as an etiquette consultant. Her leadership helped me deepen my understanding of confidence, communication, professionalism, and the importance of how we show up in the world.

Some books that have influenced me include Atomic Habits by James Clear, which reinforced the power of consistency, discipline, and intentional growth, and B.O.S.S. Moves by Myron Golden, which I appreciate because of the way he connects biblical principles, personal development, and business.

My coach, Jasmine Stokes, has also been an important part of my journey. She certified me as a life coach and has become more than a coach she has been a mentor and spiritual sister who helps keep me grounded, accountable, and focused on continued growth.

Ultimately, the resources that help me do my best are the ones that strengthen my faith, increase my confidence, expand my knowledge, and remind me to continue becoming the best version of myself. I believe growth is a lifelong journey, and we should always remain open to learning, evolving, and walking boldly in our purpose.
