Meet Yassy Capri of Blume Lumiere Studios LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yassy Capri.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Blume Lumiere Studios really started from something I had been doing naturally for years which is creating. I’ve always had an eye for design, branding, and the little details that make something feel intentional. For a long time, though, I didn’t necessarily see those skills as something I could build a business around. I was simply the person people came to when they needed help bringing an idea to life.

Eventually, I realized there was a bigger purpose behind what I was doing. I loved helping people take an idea that existed in their head and turn it into something tangible, polished, and aligned with who they were. My faith has played a big role in that journey. I truly believe God gives each of us gifts with purpose, and over time, I began to understand that my creativity was one of mine. I officially formed Blume Lumiere Studios in 2025 and publicly launched in January 2026. I built the business while working a full time corporate job and raising a family, so much of the journey has happened in the hours in between and whenever I could make room to create. It hasn’t always been easy to balance, but it has made every step forward feel that much more meaningful.

As the business has grown, so has my vision for it. What began with graphic and brand design has evolved into a creative studio where I help entrepreneurs and brands develop their visual identity, find clarity in their ideas, and create intentional experiences around what they are building. I’ve also allowed myself to explore creatively and expand into areas I may not have originally imagined for the business.

I’m still building, learning, and discovering what the next version of Blume Lumiere looks like, and I think that is one of the most exciting parts of my story. I didn’t wait until everything was perfect or until I had every answer. I started with what I knew, continued developing my skills, and allowed the business to evolve with me. A lot of this journey has required trusting God, trusting the gifts He gave me, and being willing to move even when I couldn’t see the entire path ahead. Today, I’m much more confident in calling myself not only a creative, but a founder and entrepreneur.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. One of my biggest challenges has been learning how to build something of my own while still managing everything else that requires me. I’m a wife, a mother of two, and I work a full time corporate job, so Blume Lumiere has largely been built in the spaces in between: early mornings, evenings, weekends, and sometimes very late nights.

Another challenge has been getting out of my own way. I’m naturally a perfectionist, and I’ve had to learn that everything doesn’t have to be perfect before I share it, launch it, or take the next step. There have been moments of imposter syndrome where I’ve questioned whether I was experienced enough or ready to call myself a founder. But every client who has trusted me with their vision and every project that has stretched me creatively has helped build that confidence. I’m learning to show up even when I don’t feel confident, even when I don’t have it all together, and most of all, to stop hiding.

I’ve also learned that being talented at something and running a business around that talent are two very different things. Beyond the creative work, there’s pricing, processes, client communication, marketing, systems, and learning how to protect my time and creative energy. I’m still learning as I grow.

Through all of it, my faith has kept me grounded. I’ve had to remind myself that I don’t need to have the entire journey figured out. Sometimes I just need to be obedient to the next step God is putting in front of me, give myself grace, and trust the process.

The road hasn’t always been smooth, but the difficult parts have taught me resilience, patience, and how much I’m capable of. I’m still navigating the balance, but I’m becoming much more intentional about building a business that fits the life I want, rather than building a life that has to revolve around my business.

As you know, we’re big fans of Blume Lumiere Studios LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Blume Lumiere Studios is a creative studio built to help entrepreneurs, brands, and visionaries bring their ideas to life with intention. I specialize in brand development, visual identity, digital design, social campaigns, and creative assets for brands, events, launches, and special projects.
One of the things I love most about Blume Lumiere is the opportunity to work with entrepreneurs across different industries. Whether I’m working with a hairstylist, a PR firm, an event agency, or another type of business, the goal remains the same: to understand their vision and help bring it to life in a way that feels intentional, elevated, and uniquely theirs. Every client and industry is different, which allows me to constantly stretch creatively while still staying true to the purpose behind my work.
I think what sets Blume Lumiere apart is that I don’t approach every client with the same creative formula. I take the time to understand the person behind the business, what they are building, who they are trying to reach, and how they want people to feel when they experience their brand. I don’t want to simply create something that looks good. I want the finished work to feel like a true reflection of the client and something they are genuinely proud to share.
I’m especially proud of how much Blume Lumiere has grown beyond what I initially imagined. I’ve had the opportunity to create brand identities, digital content, business collateral, and event visuals, including creative work that came to life during WNBA All Star Weekend in Chicago. Seeing people interact with and take photos in front of something I had once been creating from behind my computer was a full circle moment for me. It showed me that my creativity could extend beyond a screen and become part of an actual experience.
Blume Lumiere is still evolving, and I’m excited about that. I want people to know that they don’t have to come to me with everything figured out. Whether someone is starting with an idea, building a new brand, refreshing an existing one, or creating a special campaign or experience, part of what I do is help bring clarity to the vision and then create something intentional from it.
At the heart of Blume Lumiere is the belief that there is room for both strategy and softness in business. I want the creative process to feel collaborative, personal, and exciting. My goal is not just to make things beautiful. It is to help people feel confident in what they are building and proud to share it with the world.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
If there’s anything I’d want someone reading my story to take away, it’s that you don’t need anyone’s permission to take up space. You don’t have to wait until you feel completely ready, confident, or qualified enough to pursue what has been placed on your heart.

One of the biggest lessons I’m learning in this season of my life is to stop hiding. Stop hiding behind perfectionism, fear, timing, or the idea that I need to become some future version of myself before I’m worthy of showing up as who I am today.

When God tells you to make the move, you do just that, and He’ll do the rest. You may not know exactly where the path is leading, but sometimes faith is simply being obedient enough to take the first step.

So show up. Take up space. Use your gifts. Start before everything feels perfect. There is room for you, too.
