With his unique blend of talent and dedication, Chris Cream is poised to continue making waves in the entertainment industry, leaving an indelible mark on audiences and aspiring artists alike.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Coming from a small, challenged East Coast city known for socioeconomic and crime issues, Cream began his journey in a place with little industry. Since there was no internet at the beginning of his career, he had to knock on every door to find his way. This effort led him to Mike Lemon Casting in Philadelphia many years ago, where he received his first opportunity in major productions. He fell in love with film and wanted to grow from there. Balancing work, family, career, and life certainly came with lessons and scars.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Having been a part of many productions, from music, to stage plays to film, Cream has always been a student of each part of the crafts. He studies what each role does individually with great appreciation. From key grip and best boys and continuity to directors. He ask questions when given the opportunity and takes mental notes to later apply. He enjoys casting the right types for particular roles and enjoys teaching them how to bring a character to life In the film Sons of Sin he did this with a majority of the new talent and some veterans as well. He pushes buttons to extract the proper emotions for the project, not always understood but ultimately appreciated for the outcome.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Believe in yourself. Keep your integrity. Study people in real life situations, film will always use real life for reference points… Know which character is in front of you at all times, you just may get a script with say a “cranky supervisor” and is you’re paying attention in everyday life you just may have already seen the “character” … Bring them to life!
