Meet Quantavious Hudson of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Quantavious Hudson.

Hi Quantavious, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Back in 2019 I started doing secular music…and really was promoting negativity and things that’s not good to encourage others(especially the youth)…So somewhat around 2023 I got arrested for possession of firearm by a convicted felon and ended up doing 9 months with time served…So now that I’m out one day we riding in the car and glorilla comes on and at the time my 4 year old daughter rapping it from word to word…and I told her naw baby don’t rap/sing that….and it was in that moment when the Lord ask me How you tell her to stop rapping songs like that when you making the same kind of music for lil boys to glorify??? And that’s when I knew it was time to answer the call.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It started off Shakey because of the choices that I was making in the beginning..I was still straddling the fence,playing both sides…some things I was having a hard time letting go of but once I got tired of dealing with the unnecessary and extra problems I’ve soon repented and decided to walk righteous and in order.

So I’m a gospel rap artist born in Albany,Ga. Former secular artist And I moved to Augusta,Ga.after my release from prison of serving a 10 year sentence.im just proud to be a willing vessel to help lead,guide,direct,comfort, and teach.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Giving honor to God first and foremost, I also give credit to my 7 year old daughter because she is honestly the reason why I push daily and strive to be better than the day before….from listening to my music, sharing it amongst people she is around, to posting on my YouTube page and creating content. Majority of my close friends would call me and give me encouraging words to help keep me focus and moving forward so I am very thankful for them just being able to have that support from them means/meant a lot to me…I’m even thankful for those who taught me multiple lessons of what it looks like when peers,family, and friends not gone support you nor your dreams/vision.
