Exploring Life & Business with Morgan Taylor of Tailored Fitness and Performance Lab

Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgan Taylor.

Morgan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I studied exercise science at Wesley College in Dover, DE. I was a two sport athlete in football and track. Following my time there I spent several year as a teacher and other fields. In 2025 I decided to pursue sports performance and personal training full time. In 2026 I decided to go all in and open my own gym Tailored Fitness and Performance Lab.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Since going in to training it’s been tough. Having to find a way to attract clients, grown clientele, manage a gym, and retain clients.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Tailored Fitness and Performance Lab?
Tailored performance and fitness lab was created to help people not just meet their physical expectations and goal but also their mental. Changing the mindset of everyone that walks through the door and help them realize they just need to be 1% better than the day before. Rome wasn’t built in a day and progress takes time. We offer a variety of services from; small group training, sports performance, boxing, boot camps, one on one training, sports team training, and recovery.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I don’t really do training for the money, I actually enjoy seeing people meeting their goals. Which is why my rates are as low as they are, in a saturated market and skill set that I have I could always charge more. I truly enjoy seeing people show up for themselves each day.
