Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany “Brie” Williams.
Hi Brittany “Brie”, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey with Brie’s Small Business Solutions started with a simple realization: a lot of entrepreneurs have the passion, talent, and ideas to build something of their own, but they often don’t have the guidance or resources to navigate the business side.
I’ve always had an interest in business and entrepreneurship, and as I learned more about the different pieces that go into building a legitimate and sustainable business, I realized how overwhelming it can be when you’re trying to figure everything out on your own. There are so many moving parts—business formation, funding readiness, marketing, branding, websites, systems, certifications, contracts, and simply knowing what to do next.
That’s what inspired me to create Brie’s Small Business Solutions. I wanted to build the kind of resource I wish more entrepreneurs had access to: professional guidance that feels approachable, practical, and personal.
I started by helping entrepreneurs with foundational business needs and continued expanding as I learned more about the challenges small business owners face. Over time, my services grew to include business consulting, business formation guidance, funding readiness, commercial and government contracting readiness, website and marketing support, business systems, merchant processing solutions, and educational resources.
One thing that has really shaped my journey is understanding that entrepreneurship isn’t about trying to do everything at once. I’ve had to learn to build one piece at a time, learn from every experience, and keep moving forward even when everything wasn’t perfectly figured out.
Today, I’m building Brie’s Small Business Solutions into more than just a consulting business. My vision is to create a resource ecosystem where entrepreneurs can come for guidance, tools, educational resources, and practical solutions as they start, grow, and scale their businesses.
What makes my approach different is that I want entrepreneurs to feel like they have someone in their corner. I believe you can provide professional business guidance while still making people feel comfortable asking questions and admitting what they don’t know.
At the heart of everything I’m building is one simple mission: Helping Entrepreneurs Build Businesses the Right Way.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, and honestly, I think that’s part of what has shaped me as an entrepreneur.
One of my biggest struggles has been learning how to build a business while I’m still learning the business. There have been times when I’ve had so many ideas and opportunities that I wanted to pursue everything at once. I’ve had to learn that having a lot of ideas is great, but trying to execute all of them at the same time can take you away from actually building a strong foundation.
Another challenge has been figuring out what works. Entrepreneurship comes with a lot of trial and error. Some ideas have worked, some haven’t, and some have taught me valuable lessons even when they didn’t turn out the way I expected.
I’ve also had to learn patience. Building a business doesn’t happen overnight, especially when you’re building something from the ground up. There have been moments where I questioned whether I was moving fast enough or doing enough, but I’ve learned to focus more on consistent progress than trying to compare my journey to someone else’s.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve taken from those experiences is one thing at a time, but done intentionally. I don’t have to have everything figured out today. I just need to keep learning, improving, and building.
Those struggles have actually made me better at what I do because they help me understand the entrepreneurs I serve. I know what it’s like to have an idea and not know exactly what the next step should be. That’s a big part of why I want Brie’s Small Business Solutions to feel less like someone simply giving you instructions and more like having someone in your corner helping you figure things out.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Brie’s Small Business Solutions is a business consulting and resource company created to help entrepreneurs and small business owners build stronger foundations and grow with confidence.
I specialize in helping business owners navigate the parts of entrepreneurship that can often feel overwhelming or confusing. That includes business formation, funding readiness, commercial and government contracting readiness, certifications, capability statements, websites, marketing strategy, business systems, merchant processing solutions, and other tools that help businesses become more organized and prepared for growth.
But Brie’s is about more than a list of services. My goal is to create a resource ecosystem for entrepreneurs. Along with consulting, I’m building a growing library of guides, workbooks, checklists, planners, templates, and educational resources that business owners can use at different stages of their journey.
What sets Brie’s apart is the way I approach consulting. I want professional guidance to feel approachable. Entrepreneurship can already feel intimidating, and I don’t believe business owners should feel embarrassed because they don’t know something. I want my clients to feel like they have someone in their corner who can help them understand what they need, identify their next step, and actually move forward.
I often describe the experience as getting professional business guidance in a “bestie” way. I can be honest with you about what needs to be worked on while still making you feel supported through the process.
One of the things I’m most proud of brand-wise is that Brie’s has developed its own identity and purpose. It isn’t just about selling a service. I’m building a brand centered around education, accessibility, practical resources, and helping entrepreneurs build businesses the right way.
I want readers to know that Brie’s Small Business Solutions is for the entrepreneur who has the vision but may need help putting the pieces together. Whether someone is just starting their business, trying to become more established, preparing for funding, looking for commercial opportunities, improving their online presence, or figuring out how to scale, I want Brie’s to be a place they can turn to for guidance and resources.
At the heart of the brand is a simple belief: entrepreneurs don’t have to figure everything out alone.
My mission is to help entrepreneurs build stronger businesses—one foundation, one resource, and one intentional step at a time.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something that might surprise people is that I’m largely self-taught when it comes to business.
I didn’t start Brie’s Small Business Solutions with a traditional business background or a perfect roadmap. A lot of what I know has come from being willing to research, learn, ask questions, try things, make mistakes, and figure out how all the pieces fit together.
I’m actually a very curious person. When something catches my attention, I want to understand how it works—not just on the surface, but how I can use that knowledge to create something better.
That curiosity is a huge part of how Brie’s has evolved. I started with one idea, but as I learned more about the challenges entrepreneurs face, I kept finding more ways I could help. That’s how the business expanded into consulting, educational resources, business systems, websites, marketing, contracting readiness, and other solutions.
I think people sometimes see the finished brand and assume there was always a clear plan behind it. The truth is, I’m still learning and building every day.
And honestly, that’s something I’m proud of. I don’t think you have to know everything before you start. Sometimes you just have to be willing to learn, take the next step, and build as you go.
