Today we’d like to introduce you to Cleopatra Bonny.

Hi Cleopatra, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started Royale Graphics in December 2020 after having passion for the arts during my childhood. I always enjoyed art in many forms especially digital and that what led me to turn this passion into profit. I started the business by offering personal branding such as YouTube Intros, Outros, and Banners.

As both my brand and clientele grew, I shifted into business branding especially for entrepreneurs in the beauty industry. Now, five years later I’m fully booked for my branding services, and I offer strategized packages to help my clients flourish well within their brand.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely hasn’t been the smoothest journey. I didn’t start with loan or great finances, neither a mentor. After the great mishaps of turning over projects prior to payment and losing out or miscommunications, I knew that my business craved structure. I watched many great designers on YouTube, I got a journal, and jotted thoughts down and eventually I came to a place in my business where I was content with the way it was flowing.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As mentioned, before I’m an Adobe Certified Visual Designer and in other terms a graphic designer for creative brands, especially those in the beauty industry. I create strategized visuals that help creative business owners get more involved, feel more confident and grow their brands.

I’m most proud of the experience I provide to my clients. Many of them can vouch that I’m here every step of the way to get their business going, I tell them what to look for, the mistakes to avoid-I’m basically their brand bestie.

And that is exactly what sets me apart from other designers. I know what it’s like navigating a business in confusion, I know what it’s like feeling confused and too intimidated to ask questions.

I provide security in those who support Royale Graphics, and for as long as they allow me to, I’ll be there every step of the way to make sure they do it right!

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Yes, support as many people as you can. If someone has value to share, take it! Don’t be shy to criticism and although I do not have a mentor, have a friend in business is one of the best presents you can give yourself.

For me personally, I enjoy taking courses here and there. I support and purchase e-books from those in my industry, and that has brought me a very long way especially starting as a Self-Taught Freelancer.
