Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Jimenez.
Hi Jasmine, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always been someone who feels life deeply.
I grew up as an observer, someone who was paying attention to things most people move past. Like the energy of the room, the way certain spaces made me feel safe or uneasy, and the quiet call to nature. I didn’t have language for it at the time, but I was already forming a relationship with space in a way that felt personal.
As I got older, my path didn’t follow a straight line. Although I went to school for architectural design and my journey started traditional… I was drawn to real experiences like being on the land, living off-grid, supporting natural building projects, and immersing myself in environments that asked me to be present. Those seasons shaped me in a way nothing traditional ever could. They taught me how to listen, how to slow down, and how to see space as something alive rather than something to control.
Then I became a mother, and that changed everything.
Motherhood grounded me, but it also stretched me. It brought me face to face with myself. My patterns, my fears, my growth. At the same time, it deepened my awareness of environment in a new way. I wasn’t just moving through spaces anymore, I was responsible for creating them. I became responsible for shaping the kind of world my daughter would grow within.
There were moments in my life where I felt disconnected from my own vision. Times where I questioned myself, where things felt uncertain, and where I had to rebuild from within. And in those moments, I started to notice something: the external always mirrored the internal. When I felt clear, things flowed. When I felt blocked, everything around me reflected that.
That awareness became a turning point.
I began to understand that design wasn’t just about what we build, it’s about what we believe we’re allowed to build.
Now, as an architectural designer and founder of Earth Echoes, my work is rooted in that understanding. I focus on what I call “inner architecture.” The internal landscape that shapes our ability to create. I work with people to help them reconnect to their vision, move through the blocks that hold them back, and translate what they feel into spaces that are tangible and aligned.
Whether it’s an interior, an event, or a conceptual project, I’m always holding that deeper layer. Because for me, this work isn’t just about aesthetics it’s about creating spaces that feel like truth. Spaces that support who you are and who you’re becoming.
My journey has been layered, non-linear, and deeply personal. But every part of it led me here.
And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the most meaningful things we create don’t start outside of us… they start within us.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road.
As the oldest daughter and the first in my family to earn a bachelor’s degree, there was a lot of pressure to follow a traditional, stable path. And for a while, I tried to fit into that. But I felt pulled in a different direction, and chose a path that felt kind of like a rebellion. I had to step away from what made sense on paper into something unknown.
That choice came with challenges. There were seasons of financial uncertainty, starting over, and building without a clear roadmap. Living off-grid and pursuing a nontraditional lifestyle wasn’t always understood by the people around me, which made it feel isolating at times.
On a personal level, I had to work through a lot. I had to learn to trust myself, move through self-doubt, and break patterns that kept me disconnected from my vision. Motherhood added another layer of responsibility while I was still figuring things out, which wasn’t easy to balance.
I’ve faced moments where my work wasn’t fully seen or valued, and experiences that forced me to rebuild and redefine my direction.
But looking back, those challenges shaped everything. They pushed me into deeper alignment, resilience, strengthened my self-trust, and helped me create work that actually has meaning behind it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an architectural designer and the founder of Earth Echoes, where I offer design consulting for interiors, events, and conceptual spaces.
What makes my work different is my focus on what I call “inner architecture,” the connection between a person’s internal world and what they create externally. I don’t just design spaces, I help people access their vision and translate that into something real.
I’m known for creating spaces that feel intentional and personal, not just visually appealing. My process goes beyond aesthetics. I look at how someone wants to feel, how they live, and what might be blocking them from fully stepping into their ideas.
What I’m most proud of is helping people move from uncertainty into clarity. When someone can finally see their vision and trust themselves enough to bring it to life, that’s the real outcome for me.
At the core, my work is about alignment and creating spaces that actually reflect the person living within them.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love the most about Atl is it’s creative energy and strong sense of community. People here are expressive, supportive, and constantly building. There’s a real culture of showing up for one another.
What I like lease is how spread out and disconnected it can feel at times. With how fast the city is growing, there’s still a need for more intentional, grounded spaces that truly bring people together.
