Check Out Maddie Cole’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maddie Cole.

Hi Maddie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I worked as a receptionist at a local hair salon just for a job! I had no interest in hair, but as time went by I completely fell in love with the atmosphere and the creativity all around me. I left college and started cosmetology school not too long after I began that job. I was lucky enough to become a stylist at J. Thomas Salon in Dawsonville, GA, and the rest is history!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has definitely not been smooth by any means! Cosmetology school requires a fierce amount of dedication and I had to dig deep to find that within myself. Everyone makes mistakes when you are first starting out, and I had to learn to accept that this is how you continue to grow.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a hairstylist that specializes in blonding, balayage, and lived-in hair color! I am most proud of the connection I have made with my clients. The guest experience is of upmost importance to me, and I am so grateful to the clients who trust me and my vision for their hair.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Making others happy! There is truly no greater feeling than seeing my clients’ faces light up with a smile when they see the finished result.
